Surely, for lack of conscience -and I cross my fingers, because I have never shared Voltaire's resounding certainty about it- and unlike characters, such as the pusillanimous Dorian Gray -we will leave Kafka and the insects momentarily on Miss Pepis' divan- do not feel any objection and therefore, no fear, of continually bumping into that great metaphor of the Alter Ego, which deep down, is also the reflection, detail, on the other hand, that in my humble point of view, gets the Animals, supposedly, live in an eternal state of grace, such as innocence, which was precisely what beings lost….humans, when they were expelled from Paradise.
Seguramente, por carecer de conciencia -y cruzo los dedos, porque nunca he compartido la rotunda certidumbre volteriana acerco de ello- y a diferencia de personajes, como el pusilánime Dorian Gray -dejaremos a Kafka y a los insectos momentáneamente en el diván de la señorita Pepis- no sientan ningún reparo y por lo tanto, ningún temor, de tropezarse continuamente con esa grandiosa metáfora del Alter Ego, que en el fondo, es también el reflejo, detalle, por otra parte, que bajo mi humilde punto de vista, consigue que los animales, supuestamente, vivan en un eterno estado de gracia, como es la inocencia, que fue, precisamente, lo que perdieron los seres….humanos, cuando fueron expulsados del Paraíso.
