There are times when, when a timely truce puts an end, even momentarily, to that relentless fight that they have been carrying out since the dawn of time, light and darkness agree to be allies, leaving in the retina of the lucky viewer beautiful images, not at all exempt from a certain mature symbolism, capable of appeasing even the most restless spirits.
They are, without a doubt, an invaluable part of the singularity of what some poets intuited as worlds that are within this one and that, like the magic of the expressive kabuki masks of immemorial Japanese theater, provide us with enough reasons to wake up that metaphorical Sleeping Beauty, which, after all, is always the daydream.
Hay ocasiones, en las que, cuando una oportuna tregua pone punto y final, aunque sea momentáneamente, a esa lucha sin cuartel que vienen ejecutando desde el alba de los tiempos, luz y oscuridad se avienen a ser aliados, dejando en la retina del afortunado espectador hermosas imágenes, no exentas, en absoluto, de cierto maduro simbolismo, capaz de apaciguar incluso a los espíritus más inquietos.
Son, qué duda cabe, parte inestimable de la singularidad de aquello que algunos poetas intuían como mundos que están dentro de éste y que, como la magia de las expresivas máscaras kabuki del inmemorial teatro japonés, nos proporcionan los suficientes motivos, como para despertar a esa metafórica Bella Durmiente, que, después de todo, es siempre la ensoñación.
