Splinterlands is now offering Land for sale on the their official site. There's three different options for land purchases.

Plot Claim: A Plot Claim will cost $20 USD each. A plot will give a Productivity bonus.

---

Track Claim: A Track Claim consist of 100 Plots. The cost of a Track Claim is $1700 USD. Tracks will give a Productivity bonus + One Keep Building.

Region Claim: A Region Claim consist of 1000 Plots. The cost of a Region Claim is $15000 USD. Tracks will give a Productivity bonus + Nine Keep Buildings and One Castle Building.

What is Splinterlands?

Splinterlands is a digital card game created by @aggroed and @yabapmatt. Currently tournaments are being played daily in which you can earn prizes with real monetary value. You can start playing or investing in Splinterlands by clicking here.

What's that, you're not keen on spending $20 on a plot of land. Well if you are a gambling man/woman the mystery potions that are sold by Splinterlands for just 1200 DEC sometimes will contain land.

Splinterlands values 1200 DEC at $1.20 USD so the price of these Mystery Potions are relatively cheap. In fact I think I might of just FOMO myself into purchasing the Mystery Potion.

Buying the Mystery Potion does not guarantee you Land. There's all sorts of goodies offered in Mystery Potions which currently include Common cards, DEC (Splinterlands In Game Currency) and much more.

I bought 2 lots.
I'm not sure if such a small holding will produce anything.

It'll be interesting to see how a plot is intergrated in relation to rewards/productivity. A plot costs double the price of the game itself so I suspect it will have decent productivity.

As for mystery potions I haven't been lucky in that department yet so I don't usually buy them but who knows, maybe one of these days.b

To be honest I was a little surprised there wasn't a $10 land option / a discount at the $500 mark.
