Tips for taking care of mental health

To begin within, taking care of our mental health, we need to understand that there is nothing wrong with looking back at yourself from time to time.
Our minds and bodies are vital tools for our functioning. So, it is natural to take care of them to have a happy and more quality of life.
Remember to take a moment to breathe when you are immersed in that long project at work or in a difficult family problem. If you want to take a walk to clear your thoughts, that's fine. You can return to the pending later when you are ready.

1.) Find happiness beyond social media
Your life is not all on the small screen but in reality. Leave social media for a few minutes of your day to rest your mind. Don't spend hours on the wonderful Instagram of that person you believe to be very happy. Try to find your happiness too.
According to a survey by the UK public health institution, Royal Society for Public Health, and the Youth Health Movement, excessive sharing of photos on Instagram negatively influence self-image, impairs sleep and increases the fear of not being living all that life has to offer.
Set aside time in your weekly schedule to disconnect from social media. Leave your phone away, in another room, and focus on things that really matter to you.

2.) Reflect on your current life
You have a dream and do everything to make it come true. Every day, you try hard, make sacrifices, and try to be the best person possible to enjoy that dream.
Because you are so focused, you don't get along very well with frustrations. You blame yourself when something goes wrong, as it will slow down your journey. Even sick and tired, you remain firm.
Preservation is an extraordinary virtue. Those who master it are capable of making major changes in their lives and those of others.
However, have you ever stopped to think that maybe you don't really want that dream?
Many people's conflicts are associated with living a false life or leaving the quality of their present aside to pursue the future. Who knows, maybe you are pursuing an idea that, in fact, is not yours?
Whenever possible, reflect on your life. The question of whether you are happy or whether you believe happiness is elsewhere. This self-awareness will help you make decisions that match your true interests.

3.) Do meditation
Meditation is an excellent technique to keep us present, aware, and calm under pressure.
Due to its popularization, there are already meditations for specific problems, such as anxiety, bad thoughts, and lack of prosperity.
With a quiet and silent mind, we can manage everyday situations with consistency. We don't bring the negative emotions of an argument or a traffic jam to us.
We slept better. We learn to control our thoughts by separating good and bad.
With peace of mind, we can perform multitasking activities and stay in stressful environments for longer. All this is because meditation builds a kind of protective layer around our mind. That way, we don't let anything go there.

I found my happiness on first steem and now hive , but all proportions not being on a screen all day

Good for you. We just need to spare some time out of it all and give our brain the chance to relax
