New Tent!

It has been an exciting last few days here at my place. I decided that my 2x2 tent was a bit too small for me and I pulled the trigger and upgraded to a 4x4. There is so much room in this one! I can even walk around inside it right now and water my plants.

It is nice to have the room to put my humidifier inside the tent as well so that I can be certain my plants are getting the perfect amount of humidity. I am going to need to get another fan in there in a couple weeks once the tent is full, but right now everything is coming together perfectly.

I am waiting on a few more Spider Farmer lights to get here, but as I was in watering my plants and getting some pictures, the first of the new lights arrived.

I went with some more Spider Farmer SF-1000 LED lights. These are a very nice quality light and I will be able to connect them all together and control them all at once, which will be nice.

They are a full spectrum light that illuminates for every stage of the plants growth.

One thing I really like about these lights is that they are super bright and don't give off a lot of heat, which makes them ideal for indoor grows without raising the temperatures inside the tent.

I haven't had the greatest luck with germination the past couple weeks, so I bought a heating pad for seedlings. It has been so cold here lately and I haven't wanted to turn the heat up in my house to 80+ degrees so that my seeds germinate. The blueberry that I had germinated never sprouted, so I took that seed out of the pot and put in a northern lights seed that kinda germinated.
If that one doesn't sprout, it isn't a huge deal because I am going to germinate 9 more seeds today. I will do three of each of the strains that I currently have, critical purple, blueberry and bubble gum. It is awesome to have a larger tent now so that I can have a lot of different strains going at once. I am going to have to order a bunch more seeds once I get these going. I want to have a large variety of cannabis to choose from when it comes to consuming it.

As you can see, my critical purple is about three weeks into flower and is starting to fatten up nicely. This plant is going to have some crazy yields and I can't wait to see it continue to bud up over the next few weeks.

It is going to look so awesome once the purple leaves start coming in. The sugar leaves are getting covered in frosty trichomes. I am going to be looking into different options for using the sugar leaves when I am trimming and not just throwing them out. I have been looking at different options, like making butter with them or even rosin.

One of the things I am looking forward to with the bigger tent is having a section of the tent where I can see the differences in plant growth when I use nutrients vs just water. There are so many different nutrients you can buy to help with plant growth, but I would like to have a side by side comparison of how well the nutrients actually work.

I need to go back and count all of the branches that this plant has, because I am pretty sure it has twice the number of branches that my larger northern lights had. I got 36 grams from the first northern lights and this critical purple is already about twice the amount of branches, so I am hoping to get at least 70 grams or more from it when it comes to harvest.

My bubble gum has been growing nicely over the last week and this next week we should see some really big gains in size. Now that it has some of the first big leaves, it will turn into a growing machine.
It is going to be awesome when my tent is full of plants of all different strains. I really like how the strains have their own look to them and it will be cool to see all of the different attributes to each plant. Not to mention the smell is gonna be awesome. Hopefully the 4 inch exhaust fan is able to circulate the air and keep the smell down to a minimum or else I will be upgrading my exhaust fan to a 6 inch or so.
Well thank you for taking the time to check out my grow log. I hope you enjoyed the update and the pictures.
More room for activities! Lol
Hell yeah man! A 4x4 is such a great size, not only for more plants, but like you said your able to get up in there. Those side zippers come in handy too. You can now use the small tent for clones, or drying, that is if you have room. Happy growing!!
Ya, I was thinking of using the smaller tent for possibly photos or a place for my shroom garden.

ENGAGEtokens.Nice one, I agree When I got my 5x5 I was on wow I can fit my 2 smalls tents inside and walk around 🤣🤣 Now she is stuffed full 🤣.
Man I got to say I love my sf1000s I got 3 and they are super bright and low heat.
Good luck
Ya man, I really like these lights.
I have heard great things about the SF. Does it have the Samsung diodes?
Ya, they use Samsung diodes. They are a pretty nice light. I have liked the one I started with and will love the other 2 that I am getting.
Looking good brotha'
I am definately inspired. My girls are still in veg, they are autos though so I think this week they'll start to flower. Anyhow great content....

Thats awesome. I have only been growing autos so far and I am probably gonna be sticking with that for a while. They are easy, fast and have a nice yield.
This is fantastic brother, not only you have more space for your crops, but you will be able to work more comfortably inside them, I'm glad you've extended from 2x2 to 4x4, I'm sure now your crops will give better production, Congratulations!
