Their beaks were the most interesting part. They were so wide for their faces and it almost made them look grouchy. I wasn't aware of local bird sanctuaries, so I was pretty intrigued by what volunteers and vets do for wildlife in a non-profit capacity. Seeing all the other rescued birds in the windows meant that I wasn't the only one out there with a conscience.

It's always interesting to have one's mind opened up to a concept, thing people are doing, that we never knew of before. I'm a pragmatic guy and think it'll never happen but...Imagine a world in which everyone cared? Would be nice right?
