ASTONISHING HEALTH BENEFITS OF SCENT LEAVES.

Hello Beautiful people,how are you all doing? Great right? I am posting here for the first time and it's indeed my pleasure to be here.
I want to tell us a little about one of our local plants here in Nigeria, Akwa Ibom state precisely called "Scent leaves".

One can quickly wave aside this plant as just another sweet smelling plant but it is more than just that.
Scent leave is native to not only Nigeria but other countries like Cameron,Ghana etc.In my local dialect,it is called "Ntong". It spices up delicacies,giving it an aromatic taste.It can also be taken as tea.

The following are some of the immeasurable benefits of scent leaves:
-It aids digestion
-It prevents cancer and reduces cholesterol
-It can improve infertility in men and women
-It promotes eyesight due to it's vitamin A content(one of the main reasons I use it in my meals).

-It lowers blood sugar level.
-It improves heart function
-It aids in the treatment of fungal infection -by crushing and smearing it on skin infections.
-It helps in the treatment of diarrhea.
-It treats pile.

Scent leaves when taken as tea serves as tonic and can be used as a gargle for sore throat.

It can be preserved dry.Many a times,in my home,we rub it with our palms when dry and preserve it in a container for use anytime it is needed.

So when next you see scent leaves,I hope you will make good use of it as you have just learnt of it many benefits to one's health.
