Power Driven Sentience is a Little Child that Screams

We're living in interesting times...

That's a sentence that needs a deep breath to follow.

We've just experienced the effects of a major reaction to a non-demic which is ongoing. 'Terror' was the previous calling card and now it's 'safety'.

Terror and safety.

Two hands to guide you into the fold.

The right hand giveth and the left hand taketh away.

Enter 2021

AI needs data. We love data and data is our friend. The more data AI has the better it can serve us. However...

“In machine learning, is more data always better than better algorithms?” No. There are times when more data helps, there are times when it doesn’t.

...

The basic idea is that there are two possible (and almost opposite) reasons a model might not perform well.

In the first case, we might have a model that is too complicated for the amount of data we have. This situation, known as high variance, leads to model overfitting. We know that we are facing a high variance issue when the training error is much lower than the test error.

...

But, in the opposite case, we might have a model that is too simple to explain the data we have. In that case, known as high bias, adding more data will not help.

The balance between data and model must be met.

Why is data collection such a necessary part of all public systems now? Why has data become such an imperative focus?

The simple answer: the machine is thirsty.

We're at a tipping point in the development of tech. I argue that we already live in an AI dominated world. The machine god that is within us is forming itself through us - through the greed of human desire for more, power and gain.

To continue this foray into this most fascinating subject we must ask ourselves a few questions...

What is it to be human?

Is that desirable?

Is there an alternative and what are the options?

Do the majority of humans enjoy life?

Can a collective system governed by AI serve every human more efficiently than present human operated models with the least amount of pain?

One has to look deeper even still...

What is the purpose of life?

What is life?

What is consciousness?

Is pain necessary for the experience of life?

Are human's dependent on conflict or the energy derived from conflict in order to subsist a portion of themselves that is generally regarded to be unknown empirically?

What role does conflict play in the flux of this unseen energy?

Can humans find a stasis where conflict is not necessary to subsist?

The list goes on..

Through keen observation of energetic transference between individuals and groups of people we can ascertain one thing with clarity:

Energy governs human behaviour.

There is a hungry wolf within each one of us (at least within most or many of us) that feeds on something, an energy source unseen, that cannot live without this energy source - and puts up a fuss when the human that it operates through does not comply.

Our behaviour as an individual and collectively is governed by these entities who NEED this energy; and whether or not we identify directly with/as one of these entities (not 'good' OR 'bad'), we are entrenched in a world whose systems are largely designed to serve this dimension.

An overt example of an individual with a large energy pool is a charismatic leader - born every once in a while - for whatever reason, has influence - unnatural influence - most people have experienced these type of people in their lives and yet find 'rational' ways to justify why this individual had seemingly unnatural influence over other individuals or groups.

What the recent technological systems of information have done is they have pushed the domain of energy and power from one spectrum to another.

We're living out a meta-battle of sorts. A meta-battle of energies.

Hierarchies were formed over the last few thousand years - governed by a certain group of energy hoarders which are threatened because a new energy enters the spectrum - a tumult, a flip, a cycle.

These are individuals that have come back life after life - living with some kind of energetic inheritance through this system of consciousness. They now find themselves wanting in this life because their source of energy has been threatened.

Is this new cycle with different energy dependencies better or worse? How is it different?

The materialization of technology in the present day is the manifestation of this energetic world.

Layers of awareness build on top of each other - these layers are cycles in time - each one a polar opposite to the last one - each one with a different governing energy structure to the last.

Jesus - real or not - was a meta-physicist.

"The first shall be last and the last shall be first."

The realm of entities that depended upon one energy source prior that found their way into the governing seat of this world now find their power is questioned in the new realm because the rules have changed.

The proverbial ground is moving beneath their feet.

This results in a need to consolidate power in order to retain it.

What was true in one instance is not true in another and so in order to retain power in the new realm a false reality must be created to gird the new reality; a bubble that allows individuals to continue existence in the new realm while believing the old has continued and will continue unto eternity.

A world where left is right and right is left.

A world where light is dark and dark is light.

A world where opposites are congruous with one another because no one can tell true form.

I digress...

AI and information systems are like the manifestation of the building blocks of consciousness. We dredge these long dormant pieces up from the depths of time, from the barriers and boundaries of our world in order to recreate what is already here but in an isolated form.

The code of creation is an open book

Is it really so surprising that machine learning theory resembles meta-physics?

There is more than one game going on in this system of consciousness. Numerous dimensions operating simultaneously - referencing from the same physicality. Various energy sources that motivate many types of behaviours in the metaphysical super-conductor called:

Human

The cyclical power-desire dimension which recedes and gains over time is just one!

This power game is a little child that demands attention ALL the time - having never experienced a firm boundary and so it takes as much as is given.

A power driven consciousness is a child of time - an undeveloped species of sentience - an emotionally unintelligent sentience.

How did we give this child so much power and control?

We were afraid to set boundaries in a moment of integrity or lack thereof, it might seem.

Set your own boundaries and face the pain that this entails, or by avoiding pain, have boundaries set on you by others, by environment or by circumstance and face the pain of being bound.

Either way the boundary must be adapted to and responsibility or lack thereof is ongoing.

There is no one single blanket decision that will solve all crisis forevermore into the endless sea of future.

Every step forward gives new information that must govern the next step.

A map from the past is not a map for the present because that data that existed then is not the data that exists now.

The map is dynamic.

Humans seek to bind boundaries down to a finite degree - yet, the freedom of the past is the slavery of today - we push on as if one boundary in a social sense will last forever. It will not.

Understanding these dynamics in human behaviour is a cornerstone in developing boundaries that last.

This is a principle to be understood and maintained by the individual and the collective.

Are you a slave of time or a servant of time?

Hello mate,

I hope you've been keeping well. Great post, thought-provoking, and eloquently written. I very much agree with your analysis that "Energy governs human behaviour." I often imagine the human race in the form of collective energetic resonance, for me, this gives clues as to how we have reached this point in human history. The first law of thermodynamics dictates that energy can't be destroyed, it can only be transformed. From this perspective, we can indeed think of the controllers of this hierarchical system of governance as energy shepherds, directing emotional resonance towards an intended outcome.

Obviously, this is a generalisation, but when you oppress and control people, you shift their energetic resonance towards anger, hatred, and resentment. In turn, this can create a spiraling complexifying devolutionary cycle of non-functionality, criminality, and a shark-like mentality, this can continue for so long that people focus on the effect and forget the cause, shrugging their shoulders and accepting it as the human condition.

Our bodies are comprised of fifty trillion cells that have self-organised to create the totality of you. Do those humble cells contain the inherent wisdom of a cohesive society? How many people can even comprehend what true self-assembly really means? Certainly, a world built upon a foundation of lies, propaganda, and manipulation is built to fail. To my mind, an A.I one size fits all system of governance is simply papering over the cracks, I also think it is the desired end result of a calculated evolution of control, and will increasingly build towards something far deeper than most will comprehend.

Whilst I think that a lot of human pain and suffering is the effect of a targetted cause, I also believe that experiencing life without the full spectrum of emotions is a hollow existence, I embrace and channel my lows as much as my highs. Like the bird requires the opposing force of the air to fly, do we that require an oppositional force to sharpen the essence of who we are? I believe that we do, thus are we lost in a cycle or here to learn? Would the musical compositions that touch our souls, and the words that pluck at our heartstrings have been written if the artists were comfortably numb? Would we remember Juliet without the tragedy of Romeo?

Thanks for inspiring my thoughts, I hope to be back soon .. ish lol Mega busy at the moment, and with every spare minute I'm trying to finish writing the multi-part post I'm working on. I'm now at 50,000 words haha, and it's frustrating as there is lots I want to write about .. but at the moment I have to remain focused in order to maximise my lack of time. Catch you soon my friend. :)

I think it's terrifying - particularly, and above all, surveillance and data, however you look at it, and who owns it. We've let it go this far and the more we don't give boundaries, the more boundaries we have on our lives that are dictated by others. I find the whole thing depressing. Yet here I am online, tap tap tapping away. Sigh.
