I'm reading more and more of late that insect populations seem to be declining, which is so sad. Even bird populations have declined from what we used to see as children.

All animal and plant species, as well as watercourses and the quality of ecosystems in general, are becoming extinct and degrading at an accelerated rate, and in addition to the plundering of the environment, there is also the introduction of foreign species, which prey upon the native ones. / Todas las especies animales y vegetales, así como los cursos de agua y la calidad de los ecosistemas en general, están extinguiéndose y degradándose a un ritmo acelerado, y además de la expoliación del medio ambiente está también la introducción de especies foráneas, que depredan a las nativas.
