Did you know that our poo is not supposed to stink?

Food Haul digestion.jpg

During my healthy lifestyle journey, I slowly transitioned from eating everything to cutting out meat, dairy, eggs, high-processed foods, high-fat meals, gluten, heavy cooked meals - until later on going over to a raw vegan lifestyle with lots of fruits (which are so gentle on our digestion). With every step on the way, I realized an improvement in the bathroom scents and nowadays it usually doesn't really smell like anything anymore.

Yes, there shouldn't be any uncomfortable bathroom scents if we choose our foods wisely and have a healthy digestion.

Some common factors for smelly bowel movements are...
✖️ high-fat or high-protein diet
✖️ eating lots of animal products
✖️ unhealthy bacteria, toxins and other pathogens
✖️ troublemaker foods like dairy, gluten and eggs
✖️ low hydrochloric acid
✖️ weakened liver and insufficient bile production

A healthy bowel movement doesn't happen overnight and it might be that you are eating super healthy and still experience uncomfortable smells or other symptoms (which by the way can also be a sign of cleansing processes). Don't be discouraged, make sure you are on the right path and stay patient with your body's recovery.

Words of wisdom sister!

I've found out the no-no, worst, biggest enemy of humans is carbs & grains. Even though ethically eating meat imo is wrong and I think it will hurt your bodily system eventually, the grains change everything. Not only the smell of our waste but also the armpit smells & even sunburns.

In human nature I have no doubt raw is law.

Peace & Blessings on your path!
