I baked apple raisin roll yesterday. As my mother baked it, it is my childhood memory.
Good thing about this bread is quick, fun to make, and can beboth for coffee time and breakfast. Just it has slightly a lot of butter and sugar. So it's not for everyday 😉
The recipe I (roughly) follow for the dough is from a comedy movie titled "Kamome Diners". I like fine cardamon note in the dough.
The recipe is written in Japanese but can be translated in English with DeepL translator. The dough is quite sticky but well worth trying. I make half the amount.

The bread is almost gone ... I wonder what to bake for tomorrow breakfast 🍞😉
Happy bread baking!
Nom nom! 😍
Hihihi 😁
Wow, that looks amazing 😍 that would be great with coffee ☕👌🏽🥮
Exactly! I like to have them with coffee 😁
I know it sounds a bit weird… but I want to rub myself in your raisin bread: it looks so delicious!!!!! I get hungry by looking at your photo. I will look into the recipe, but I guess its with yeast? I thought about trying out sweet sourdough (from Anita Sumer) do you have any experience with this? I think I already wrote about her book… but I still have not tried it (but want to)

It was with yeast. I tried Zopf once with yeast water but didn't make a hummer loaf ... I look forward to reading about your experiment.
Yes I remember the website. I like the "bread poet" title 😊🍞
I would so eat it!
