
It's been a while since I posted to Bread Bakers. Last few months, my motivation to bread baking has been very very low. When I make bread, my family says "I want cornflakes today" and when I don't, they say, "Oh, we don't have any bread?" and there were discussions sometimes ... Since around this summer, I've been making or buying only what we need or less.
Today, I got motivated to make Halloween-ish sausage rolls with eyes and drew a mouth with tomato ketchup. My daughter regularly eats this well but she ate about 3 of them. I know kids like eyes.
I enjoyed placing the eyeballs, putting a little black sesame seeds on them, and drawing a mouth after they were out from the oven.
I'm looking forward to exploring the world of bread again in this autumn and winter.
久しぶりにBread Bakersに投稿します。最近パンを焼くモチベーションがだだ下がりでした。作っても「今日はコーンフレークがいい」と残ってしまったり、作っていないと「えー、パンないの?」といわれたりで、夏の終わりくらいからは必要最低限だけ作るか買うかです。
今日はちょっとやる気が出て、いつものソーセージロールに目をつけてトマトケチャップで口を描いてハロウィン仕様にしてみました。これだけで子どもが大喜びで3つくらい食べました 😅
作りながら私も目玉の位置をずらしたり、黒ごまをちょんちょんのせたり、口をかいたり楽しかったです。

秋冬に入ったことだし、どっしり重いパンはじめ好みのパンを小さいサイズで焼いて、またパンの世界を探求したいです。もう家族の好みはほどほどにし気にして、ストレスフリーにがんがん自分が好きなパンを焼きます 😁

I always have problems with cute food: I cannot eat it because its so cute I want to preserve it :-DDDD YOur sausages look a bit surprised, perhaps they did not know they will be baked :-D
I am also lazy baking: means boring bread recipes, nothing fancy… wait besides a sourdough brioche I made from Anita Sumers book, this was fantastic and exciting, because the first time went horribly wrong, second trial was wonderful.
Today I started with cookies (its raining hard here).. I tweaked an Canadian recipe and the dough is already like crack (ahhhhh… have to eat it)

Oh no that you had rain. It was probably the last beautiful autumn weekend here in Leipzig. Definitely I’ll bake more bread and sweets during the upcoming cold season … 😊
