Hoy trataremos la importancia del papel que juegan las plantas con propiedades alelopaticas en el manejo del cultivo denominado El Alimento de los Dioses, "El Cacao" ( Theobroma cacao L.).
Los grandes investigadores han buscada manera de mejorar el control de las plagas que atacan los cultivos a nivel mundial, esto sin alterar el equilibrio Naturaleza-Hombre y uno de esos cultivos como ya comente es el cacao ya que este se propaga en la franja intercontinental ubicada 15 grados latitud norte y 15 grados latitud sur de la línea imaginaria llamada Ecuador, que divide a la tierra en dos partes iguales y que le brinda todas las condiciones Edafoclimaticas a este gran alimento.

En el manejo del Cacao, organizamos y capacitamos al grupo familiar de los productores en la construcción de un huerto medicinal y control de plagas y enfermedades conformado por este grupo de plantas con esas propiedades y que estan al alcance de ellos.
