I've got to rid these food photos in my phone to release used memory. This phone got only low memory capacity. Well, let's talk about the habit of taking food photos before eating. Do you find it a nuisance?
We are living in with the use of cellphones with great camera specs today. Taking photos becomes a habit and it sits in our phone for a while thinking if it is post worthy. I usually not posting it, not being active on other social media. Then here comes the hive foodie community to where food photos, recipes and food thoughts are welcome. These photos I have taken from the past must put into use and not wasted. Well, it takes our valuable time doing it and sometimes our courage. Not all people like to do it.
Most of us chose on The Majesty flavor, cost at 160.00 pesos per cup so we got it at 80 pesos each.It was really good with loaded topping s of cornflakes and others.
On the first of October when the Fire Tiger has finally open after the lockdowns. They were offering a by one take one promo for first 100. They posted the poster at the entrance early in the morning when we, the staff are first to come in the building. Well, what do you expect when we have the 'Marites spirit'? Hahah. It is noticeable because of the decorations and the busy staffs were doing there thing to get the shop ready for the opening. Then I said, oh, here was the chance for us to taste it with half of the price. I hurried to my workplace because it was time of the opening.
My friends in the Greenbelt home section had seen the poster also when they pass through the Fire Tiger Milk Tea shop. It is located at 2nd floor Greenbelt 5, Ayala Center Makati, just below our workplace. They were also excited like me. We were counting ourselves who partnered to whom. It was buy one take one. It was a worthy enjoyed treat.
Then in the middle of November, one of our neighbor friend suggested a 🍕 PIZZA! She found the best Pizza shop. She asked every single one if we like PIZZA. I was hesitant at first, you know the budget. But she assured us it would become affordable if we slice the amount equally. So indeed, strength in numbers. It is the famous Angel's Pizza in the City, which is located in Makati Avenue. I haven't tasted it yet,not much a foodie hunter. If its not advertise on TV then it will be just known by the word of mouth. The reviews about the newly offered flavor which is the chessy Spinach dip flavored Pizza is great. That was what we got since Grace suggested it. It became her cousins favorite. It was really yummy pizza. It was different than what I have tasted. We had a good laugh having 'kulitan' chitchatting while eating until the last slices. The other pair was the Pizza Overload. The verdict was we agreed on which taste better than the two. No wonder this spinach flavored is always sold out. Find it for yourself if you like to taste it. Ordering foods online nowadays is fast.
There was also the time that we agreed on Filipino kakanin treats. Our favorite Mama Nors Biko. We patch up our money to order these and eat together. It was fun eating with friends. It was with pancit bihon, puto kutchinta and puto cheese and the famous flavored Biko paired with coffee then it was indeed enjoyed very much. I always look forward to something like this moment. It doesn't always happen.
As for me, it is not nuisance at all. So what is the use of our gadgets right? It is to capture moments. Picturing foods before eating sometimes unnecessary. But if you had fun doing it then why not. Its up to you to see how the moment goes. We don't have to force it like every plate you take picture of everything. There is a consideration. After all is not the bragging of the foods that we are able to eat here, but the memories. I believe foods brings people together. Eating seriously and quiet in a table settings is not much my thing. It is where you speak and interact with your family openly. It is when you talk about which taste best for you. It is where you can be honest if the the food is bland or salty. It is where you can tell you just made a good job by your cooking or if it a mess. Eating with friends like the snacking together can be fun. It doesn't happen everyday and you don't meet them by accident. They are part of you. We've been through distancing, we are told to space out from others, but seriously it is not working since people live with interaction with others. We distance, but don't mean cutting people. Be there, even if it takes 2 meters away with each other. You can be heard, you can be felt. You are important.

Of course, taking pictures will be nice to store memories of what you just did. It's not like posting it on social media to show off but to let yourself enjoy that time.
