Quiche is a filling snack with lots of vegetables in it. Suitable for those of you who don't like to eat vegetables directly.
The downtown location is a distinct advantage for cafe, coffee shop, or restaurant business owners. They can get a lot of visitors because of the hectic activity in the city center. Including me, who was visiting several tourist destinations in downtown Banda Aceh.
The city of Banda Aceh is not that big. So, it feels like we're not traveling far to reach several places at once.
Taking a walk enjoying the air in the evening turned out to make the dinner meal in my stomach disappear quickly. Uppps! 😅 So, I'm feeling hungry again. Finally, I was looking for a place to just drink coffee or tea and enjoy a snack there.
I chose Taman Sari 36 Coffee which was closest to me at that time. Good reviews from visitors on Google Maps. So, I don't think there's any need to hesitate about that. Reviews from visitors need not be doubted 😅.
A Classic Place
From the front, it looks like a classic house that still uses wood. That's right! The place is utilizing an old house.
Even though it looks like an old house, Taman Sari 36 Coffee still looks beautiful with a classic feel, of course.
Entering this place, it's like I entered my grandmother's old house which was made of wood and some of it was made of rattan. The front porch of Taman Sari 36 Coffee has the exact feel of the balcony in front of a classic warm house, and is full of the joy of a family.
In the indoor section, it impresses the warm traditional Indonesian dining rooms. Most use wood material, but some also use iron material.
Meanwhile, the outdoor section gives the impression of a green and refreshing garden. Suitable for relaxing in the afternoon.
I chose to sit indoors because it was already dark and I didn't want mosquitoes to attack me if I sat outdoors which was filled with plants.
I enjoy space in the corner of the room. Next to the window. I think it is perfect! I love windows. From this space I can see the lights on the front porch, and I can see the conditions outside, the busy streets. To me, those kinds of things are therapy for mental exhaustion. I became calmer.
My Evening Treats
I decided not to order coffee that time. I want something more refreshing for my mind. Because if I order coffee, it will actually make my mind work again to think of other creative ideas.
Iced Flower Blossom
I ordered iced which looks like I've never tried in my life. So, I chose Iced Flower Blossom. Sounds interesting!
I find it difficult to describe the ingredients of this drink. Smells great. The predominant flavor is tamarillo, but with a mix of others.
The drink experience this time in the city of Banda Aceh is quite enjoyable. I can taste a new flavor in Iced Flower Blossom.
Spinach Quiche
Just like the drink menu I ordered, the food I ordered that time I had never tried in my life. I ordered Quiche.
When Quiche was served at my table with chili sauce, I smiled. I think it will give me a new fun experience.
Sure enough, this slice of Quiche made my tongue wag with pleasure. It was like a creamy vegetable omelette stuffed into a pie crust. So, they are a pleasant blend of textures. For vegetables, the filling consists of spinach and a little mushroom. The savory taste of Quiche seems delicious on my tongue.

I would love to eat this Quiche again and again. Orr, wait. I think I would to cook it at home. That's sounds a good idea. 😅 That's already at my food list to cook.
Those are fun evening treats for me. Being in a city of people, with new things that are fun for the satisfaction of my tongue and mind.

Quiche is one of my all time favorite dishes. This one looks moist and delicious; I hope the crust was light and crunchy. It's so good you found one with your favorite ingredients; I also love spinach and mushrooms.

Oh it's been forever since I had Quiche. Actually can't even tell you how long. The spinach variety looks so tasty. My mom makes it from time to time that was probably the last time i ate it. Going to visit her soon. I might make a special request. :)
