Hola mis queridos amigos y seguidores de esta hermosa comunidad de @foodiesbeehive, espero se encuentren bien!
En esta oportunidad quiero hablarles de un dulce típico en mi país Venezuela, se trata del Majarete, el cual se prepara con coco y queda como un quesillo, muy delicioso y por tradición se elabora los días de Semana Santa, así que les invito a prepararlo para que degusten su maravilloso sabor.

Hello my dear friends and followers of this beautiful community of @foodiesbeehive, I hope you are well!
This time I want to tell you about a typical sweet in my country Venezuela, it is the Majarete, which is prepared with coconut and is like a quesillo, very delicious and traditionally it is made during Easter, so I invite you to prepare it so you can taste its wonderful flavor.

  • 1 Coco grande
  • 2 tazas de agua
  • 1 taza de harina de maíz
  • 1/2 taza de papelón derretido
  • 1/2 taza de azúcar
  • 1/2 cucharadita de sal
  • Canela en polvo
  • 1 large coconut
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 cup corn flour
  • 1/2 cup of melted papelón
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Powdered cinnamon

PASO 1

Pelamos y rallamos el coco, luego lo agregamos a la licuadora, junto con las dos tazas de agua, la harina de maíz, el papelón, el azúcar y licuamos bien.

STEP 1

Peel and grate the coconut, then add it to the blender, along with the two cups of water, corn flour, papelón, sugar and blend well.

PASO 2

Luego agregamos la mezcla en una olla y vamos cocinando a fuego bajo, en este momento agregamos la sal y vamos revolviendo constantemente hasta que vaya espesando.

STEP 2

PASO 3

Sabremos que está lista la mezcla cuando haya espesado y se despegue de la olla, en ese momento apagamos el fuego y retiramos.

STEP 3

PASO 4

Vertemos la mezcla en un molde y dejamos reposar hasta que enfríe, mas o menos por media hora y luego desmoldamos nuestro Majarete.

STEP 4

Pour the mixture into a mold and let it rest until it cools, more or less for half an hour and then unmold our Majarete.

¡Y listo, así quedaría nuestro delicioso postre, para degustar! Queda como un manjar con trocitos de coco y agregamos canela en polvo al gusto, es una delicia!
