AFTER A FUCKING ROUGH DAY,

First you wash the potatoes and keep them in their jacket, that is where most of the vitamins are, yes in potatoes are vitamins aswell.

Than you take the special roll cutter, its a very inventive critter which will make the spirals.

It goes on top IN the potato.

Than you turn the cutter around all the way down, you get a guirlande of potato.

When the long spiral is ready put in a bamboe stick like you use with sate.

I always put spices over them for a nice bite after backing them.

Or soya sauce, for our daughter she loves that.

Than the chips are ready for backing in oil.

When they have been in the oil for 5 minutes they are light brown and very crispy. The kids love them and it takes me 10 minutes to make two a person, so twelve in total so that not so much.

An excellent and ingenious way of making potatoes. I love fries but as well as the samples, they are doubly special because they preserve the vitamin when eating their shell. Definitely delicious. Thanks for sharing, dear Britt. A big hug! @brittandjosie 😙🤗😊

Dear @taco-cat thank you for picking my blog I appreciate it

I need to try that! What types of spices do you put on? I'm thinking straight up salt and pepper

I used spiced salt ( bbq taste ) but I guess all herbs can be used

I've seen these before in the USA. Btw, aardappel is the first word I learned in Suriname. It's pretty easy when you see it on all the packages. Funny though, here the word "aloe" is just as commonly used, as this is Sarnami Hindustani word for it.

Hahahah how cool aardappel the first word. This was so funny to do
