Amigos Hivers, una de mis comidas favoritas es la merienda de la tarde. Siempre a eso de las 3-4pm me provoca mucho comer algún snack, generalmente dulce.
Hivers friends, one of my favorite foods is the afternoon snack. Always at around 3-4pm it causes me a lot to eat a snack, usually sweet.
Se me ocurrió que sería genial crear esta iniciativa en la comunidad Foodies Bee Hive, donde hablemos de nuestras 3 meriendas favoritas. Por mi parte, estos últimos 3 días estuve merendando mis tres snacks favoritos de la tarde para mostrarles a ustedes cuáles son.
It occurred to me that it would be great to create this initiative in the Foodies Bee Hive community, where we talk about our 3 favorite snacks. For my part, these last 3 days I have been having my three favorite afternoon snacks to show you what they are.
1-. El Helado 🍦 ICECREAM
Esta es, por mucho, mi merienda favorita. Probablemente sea porque vivo en una ciudad donde hace mucho calor, las temperaturas no bajan de los 30ºC especialmente en las tardes y un helado siempre refresca.
This is by far my favorite snack. It's probably because I live in a city where it is very hot, temperatures do not drop below 30ºC, especially in the afternoons and ice cream is always refreshing.
Mi favorito es el helado de chocolate y cerca de mi casa venden este helado que tan solo vale 1$ y es de vainilla y chocolate, tiene sirope de pastelado de chocolate y lluvia de chocolate. Siempre que puedo compro uno.
My favorite is the chocolate ice cream and near my house they sell this ice cream that is only worth $ 1 and is made of vanilla and chocolate, it has chocolate syrup and chocolate rain. Whenever I can, I buy one.
2-. Pan dulce y café con leche 🍞 Sweet bread and coffee with milk
En Venezuela es muy común comprar pan dulce en las tardes, se consigue en casi cualquier panadería, aunque uno siempre tiene su pan dulce favorito de algún sitio en especial, pero no sé si algo muy común en otros países.
In Venezuela it is very common to buy sweet bread in the afternoon, you can get it in almost any bakery, although you always have your favorite sweet bread from a special place, but I do not know if it is very common in other countries.
Lo cierto es que disfruto mucho un cafecito con leche y mi pan dulce favorito en la tarde. Suelo incluso hacer a algo que algunos odian y es mojar el pan en el café, me encanta hacerlo.
The truth is that I really enjoy a coffee with milk and my favorite sweet bread in the afternoon. I even do something that some people hate and that is dipping bread in coffee, I love doing it.
3-. Ponqué de Vainilla 🍰 Vanilla Cake
Cuando tengo un poquito más de tiempo hago ponqué de vainilla o con limón para merendar. Me gusta mucho, pero sobre todo es el favorito de mi mamá y suelo hacerlo para complacerla.
When I have a little more time I make vanilla or lemon cake for a snack. I like it a lot, but most of all it's my mom's favorite and I usually do it to please her.
Es delicioso así sencillo, sin cremas, rellenos ni nada. El ponqué básico acompañado de un café, es una merienda perfecta
It is delicious that simple, without creams, fillings or anything. The basic cake accompanied by a coffee, is a perfect snack
Estos son esos antojos que me dan en las tardes, me gustaría saber cuáles son los tuyos. Todo el que quiera puede unirse a esta iniciativa, sólo debe mencionar cuáles son sus meriendas favoritas y por qué.

I had ice-cream with a friend recently. We had done lots of walking. It was a nice way to end the day.
