A very orange post!!

     I don't know if you guys have noticed but almost all my posts are full of color, but one of the ones that stands out the most is the color orange, that's why this contest from our friend @Zord189, Hive Creative Contest | Everyday Cooking (Contest Details)) where he invites us to cook with an orange touch fell to me like a glove.

     Another thing that has me happy is cooking again for the #foodiesbeehive community, you can see that they really support those of us who are passionate about cooking and I also found that there are a lot of people on the platform who are really passionate about the subject. In my last post I received a lot of nice messages from the whole community, so that encourages me to keep growing and keep doing better every day.

Chicken in Barbecue Sauce🍯 🍗

     Today I was inspired, in my kitchen I found many things to cook since earlier we had gone to the vegetable market. While I was thinking about what to cook I remembered many dishes that I have made before like for example the cream of pumpkin that is the queen in my kitchen, my kids love that cream, so every time I can I spoil them with it.

     I think the tastiest thing about this cream is the touch that the semi melted cheese gives it, as soon as I blend the cream I add it so that with the heat it becomes soft and impregnates the cream with its flavor.

     But now let's talk about the recipe that I bring you today, which is very simple but very tasty; it is not the same to put some vegetables on the table with salt and vinegar than to eat them with a barbecue sauce that makes your mouth water just by looking at it, not to mention the smell that gives off all the flavors together.

~Ingredients~

  • One breast
  • Mixed vegetables

For the sauce:

  • 2 Tbsp Mustard
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • Olive oil
  • 1 cup of tomato sauce
  • 3 garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tablespoons of wine vinegar
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation:

     The first step is to wash all the vegetables and the breast and leave them for a while in vinegar to remove any impurities. Then chop the vegetables to your liking and put them to cook for about 10 minutes, or if you have a steamer is much better. The breast we cut it and marinate with salt pepper and garlic powder.

     I recommend that you don't let the vegetables cook too long because then you have to put them on the fire again, so take this into consideration.

     Then we put roast the breasts over medium heat in a little oil and turn and turn every moment, we must be careful to be overcooked, remember that then you have to put it on the fire again along with the vegetables.

Barbecue sauce

     For the sauce we will put in a pot a splash of olive oil and fry the garlic well crushed along with the grated onion. Let it fry for about 3 minutes and then add the rest of the ingredients. Add salt and let it cook for about 10 minutes, stirring constantly, adding a little water every time it dries. This way we continue until we obtain the desired consistency.

     Finally we put all the ingredients together in a pan with a little bit of sauce or if you prefer you can put a bed of sauce on the plate and place the chicken and vegetables on top of it.

     Always remember that the presentation of the dish is very important, our diners eat first with their eyes, if you do this you will have them always very happy and giving you many compliments after eating.

Un post muy naranja!


No sé si ustedes se habrán dado cuenta pero casi todos mis post están llenos de color, pero uno de los que más resalta es el color naranja, por eso este concurso de nuestro amigo @Zord189, Concurso Creativo Hive | Cocina diaria (Detalles del concurso) donde nos invita a cocinar con un toque naranja me cayó como anillo al dedo.

Otra cosa que me tiene feliz es volver a cocinar para la comunidad #foodiesbeehive, se ve que apoyan realmente a los que nos apasiona la cocina y también encontré que hay mucha gente en la plataforma que realmente le apasiona el tema. En mi última publicación recibí muchos mensajes lindos de toda la comunidad, así que eso me incentiva a seguir creciendo y a seguir haciéndolo cada día mejor.

Hoy me he inspirado, en mi cocina encontré muchas cosas para cocinar ya que temprano habíamos ido al mercado de verduras. Mientras pensaba en que cocinar recordé muchos platos que he hecho anteriormente como por ejemplo la crema de auyama que es la reina en mi cocina, esa crema les encanta a mis hijos, así que cada vez que puedo los consiento con ella.

Creo que lo más sabroso que tiene esta crema es el toque que le da el queso semi derretido, apenas licuo la crema se lo agrego para que con el calor se ponga suave e impregne la crema con su sabor.

Pero hablemos ahora de la receta que hoy les traigo que es muy sencilla pero muy sabrosa; no es lo mismo colocar un poco de vegetales en la mesa con sal y vinagre ah comerlos con una salsa barbecue que te haga agua la boca solo de verla y ni les hablo del olor que desprende todos los sabores juntos.

~Ingredientes~

  • Una pechuga
  • Vegetales mixtos

Para la salsa:

  • 2 cdas de Mostaza
  • 2 cdas de Miel
  • Aceite de oliva
  • 1 tza de Salsa de tomate
  • 3 Ajos
  • Una cebolla
  • 2 cdas de vinagre de vino
  • Sal y pimienta

Preparación:

El primer paso es lavar todos los vegetales y la pechuga y dejarlos un rato en vinagre para eliminar cualquier impureza. Luego troceamos los vegetales a tu gusto y los ponemos a cocinar unos 10 minutos, o si tienes una olla de vapor es mucho mejor. La pechuga la cortamos y adobamos con sal pimienta y ajo en polvo.

Te recomiendo que no dejes cocinar mucho los vegetales porque luego hay que colocarlos otro rato al fuego, así que hay que tener esto en consideración.

Luego ponemos asar las pechugas a fuego medio en un poquito de aceite y damos vuelta y vuelta a cada instante, debemos tener cuidado quede sobrecocida, recuerda que luego hay que ponerla al fuego nuevamente junto con los vegetales.

Salsa barbecue

Para la salsa vamos a colocar en una olla un chorrito de aceite de oliva y sofreímos el ajo bien machacado junto con la cebolla rallada. Dejamos sofreír unos 3 minutos y luego incorporamos los demás ingredientes. Retocamos la sal y dejamos que cocine unos 10 minutos, sin dejar de remover vamos agregando un poquito de agua cada vez que se seque. Así seguimos hasta obtener la consistencia deseada.

Por ultimo unimos todos los ingredientes en un sartén junto con un poquito de salsa o si lo prefieres les colocas una cama de salsa en el plato y sobre él colocas el pollo y los vegetales.

Recuerda siempre que la presentación del plato es muy importante, nuestros comensales comen primero con los ojos, si haces esto los tendrás siempre muy contentos y dándote muchos piropos luego de comer.
