Este post está escrito en dos idiomas y dividido para facilitar la lectura.
Éste 2O21 ha estado trayendo algunas experiencias particulares y turbulentas, pero con la intención de darle vuelta para continuar con la mejor energía, he estado incursionando en la cocina paseando por todas sus ramas y, aunque amo mucho la pastelería no soy practicante fiel de ella (hay mucho por aprender). Así que hoy les traigo una receta sencilla de una torta de limón, extremadamente deliciosa.
This 2O21 has been bringing some particular and turbulent experiences, but with the intention of turning it around to continue with the best energy, I have been making incursions into the kitchen by walking through all its branches and, although I love the pastry shop very much, I am not a faithful practitioner of it (there is a lot to learn). So today I bring you a simple recipe for a lemon cake, extremely delicious.
En nuestro bowl colocaremos los 300 gr de margarina y batiremos hasta que adquiera un color marfil.
Luego añadiremos el azúcar y continuaremos batiendo hasta que empiece a esponjar.
In our bowl we will place the 300 gr of margarine and beat it until it acquires an ivory color.
Then we add the sugar and continue beating until it begins to sponge.
Una vez que nuestra mezcla quede como una esponja iremos añadiendo uno por uno los huevos.
Notaremos que su aspecto se pondrá más cremoso y cambiará su color (un poco más claro).
Once our mixture is like a sponge we will add the eggs one by one.
We will notice that it will look more creamy and change its color (a little lighter).
En nuestra taza de leche rallaremos la cáscara de nuestros cuatro limones. Recuerda no rallar la parte blanca ya que amargará toda la mezcla (sólo lo verde).
In our cup of milk we will grate the peel of our four lemons. Remember not to grate the white part as it will make the whole mixture bitter (only the green part).
Comenzaremos a integrar a nuestra mezcla la harina y la leche, debemos alternar entre harina y leche en ese mismo orden.
El último ingrediente que debemos agregar es la harina.
We will begin to integrate the flour and milk into our mixture, we must alternate between flour and milk in that same order.
The last ingredient to be added is flour.
Una vez culminada nuestra mezcla, prepararemos nuestro molde con mantequilla y harina para evitar que nuestra torta se pegue.
Once our mix is finished, we will prepare our mold with butter and flour to prevent our cake from sticking.
Recuerde que antes de comenzar el proceso de preparación de su mezcla, debe pre-calentar el horno a 350°F ó 180°C.
Añadiremos nuestra mezcla al molde, esparciremos bien y es momento de cocinar. 😍
Remember that before starting the process of preparing your mixture, you must preheat the oven to 350°F or 180°C.
We will add our mixture to the mold, spread it well and it is time to cook. 😍
Si no deseas comerte la torta simple, puedes preparar rápidamente un merengue para decorarla.
If you don't want to eat the simple cake, you can quickly prepare a meringue to decorate it.
Separar las claras de los huevos en un bowl y comenzar a batir a máxima velocidad, las claras comenzarán a levantarse creando una espuma blanca.
Batir hasta que la consistencia comienza a cambiar de espuma a crema e ir incorporando poco a poco el azúcar (eso debe ser al gusto personal, a mí me gusta muy dulce el merengue, a otras personas no tanto).
NOTA: Recuerda no batir mucho el merengue una vez que ya se hizo crema, éste puede cortarse.
Separate the whites from the eggs in a bowl and start beating at maximum speed, the whites will start to rise creating a white foam.
Beat until the consistency begins to change from foam to cream and gradually incorporate the sugar (that must be to personal taste, I like very sweet meringue, other people not so much).
NOTE: Remember not to whip the meringue too much once it has become creamy, it can be cut.
Pasados 45 minutos podemos verificar si nuestra torta está lista, introduce un cuchillo en el centro de ésta, si sale limpio nuestra torta está lista, si sale con mezcla aún falta por cocinar, añade gradualmente cinco minutos más a la cocción.
After 45 minutes we can check if our cake is ready, insert a knife in the center of it, if it comes out clean our cake is ready, if it comes out with mixture still to be cooked, gradually add five more minutes to the cooking.
A mi se me quemó un poco hahaha. 😳 Espera 10 minutos para que enfríe un poco y luego desmoldar.
Para proceder a decorarlo si debemos esperar que la torta esté fría, de lo contrario el merengue se derretirá en la misma.
