Ahi Poke Bowl / ใƒใ‚ญไธผ๐Ÿœ

I made Ahi Poke Bowl for dinner. Other than copying my mother's menu, I often refer to Kurashiru and Nadia for recipes. Avocados were rarely on my parents' table, but I love avocados. I made this Ahi Poke Bowl while watching Kurashiru.
As usual, I seem to forget the seasoning amounts, so I'll make a note of it on HIVE.

STEP1 make sauce / ใŸใ‚Œใ‚’ไฝœใ‚‹

First, make the sauce. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, grated garlic, and white sesame seeds. You can use a tube of garlic. Wasabi (Japanese horseradish) is also tasty.

At this point, you can already smell the good smell that makes you hungry.

STEP2 Cut the tuna / ใƒžใ‚ฐใƒญใ‚’ๅˆ‡ใ‚‹

Cut the tuna into dice. We cut ours small enough for a 5 year old to eat, but you can use whatever size you prefer.

In the ingredients section, I wrote "160 g tuna" but it was expensive so I only have about 130 g this time. I decided to increase the amount of avocado instead.

Soak the cut tuna in a bowl for 20-30 minutes.

STEP3 Cut avocado and green onion / ใ‚ขใƒœใ‚ซใƒ‰ใ€ใƒใ‚ฎใ‚’ๅˆ‡ใ‚‹

Then cut the avocado and green onions. Cutting ripe avocados is a fun task. My 5-year-old second son looked at the avocado seeds and said, "There are chestnuts inside...!" He was surprised. That's for sure๐Ÿคฃ

STEP4 Arrangement of food on a dish / ็››ใ‚Šไป˜ใ‘

Finally, place the ingredients on top of the rice in a bowl. Top with chopped nori, avocado, tuna, and scallions, in that order, and pour over the remaining sauce in the bowl.

I think this menu is almost impossible to go wrong as long as you don't get the seasoning amounts wrong. We found it easy to eat with the amounts I wrote above, but perhaps some people may find it a little sweet. In that case, please reduce the amount of mirin.
We recommend this dish because it is quick and easy to prepare!

It is really a pleasure to read you again, thank you very much for the recipe, which looks very good, although I will be missing several ingredients that are not so common to cook here in my country.

Every time I read one of your posts, it makes me want to continue studying Japanese, it is a great language.

ใ“ใ‚“ใซใกใฏ๏ผ

Thanks for reading my post! Yes, I have heard that seaweed is not very common abroad. This menu item seems to be a Hawaiian food, but the seasonings are Japanese...so I wonder what the real story is๐Ÿค”

I didn't leave a comment yet.
I see that you watch Japanese anime, and I am glad to hear that you are a fan of the Japanese animeโœจ

I think that in all countries, there are recipes that are influenced by others, that when we analyze it, we see that it is not 100% native, but has other roots, that is interesting, because at some point in history they had some connection between the countries involved.

Don't worry about commenting, I'm really a fan of anime and more so in its original language, with Spanish subtitles, listening to it in Latin already makes me uncomfortable hahahaha.

That looks great. I think avocados are hard to buy. We often plan to eat them, but when we want to eat them, we find that they are too hard, or too soft, or have brown spots all over the inside. I think theyโ€™re the type of vegetable that you have to buy and eat basically the same day.

Do you have any avocado buying/storage tips?

You are exactly right, and just recently I made the mistake of buying avocados.๐Ÿ˜ขThe color of the skin looked like it was ready to eat, but when I cut it open at home, it was so hard I couldn't eat it. Once I cut it, I had to throw it away because it would rot before it ripened...

When I bought them this time, I bought the ones that felt a little soft in my hands. There may also be a problem with checking the stores that sell them, so I will never buy from a store that sold hard avocados again๐Ÿค”

Sounds like you might end up with a long list of stores that you wonโ€™t be being avocados from again. ๐Ÿคฃ
