How to Make a Popular Filipino Vegetable Dish PINAKBET🍅🌰🧄🍆🥗

Vegetables are one of my favorite foods to eat because they are healthy and contain vitamins and minerals that are beneficial to our health. PINAKBET is a popular and well-known Filipino vegetable dish that is also one of my favorites.

For today's post, I'll show you a quick tutorial on how to make my favorite vegetable dish, PINAKBET.

I'm not a great cook, but as I watched my mother cook, I gradually learned how to do it, and thank God, I think it was properly cooked and tasted great.

Ingredients:

  • Typically, sliced mixed vegetables (Squash, Eggplant, String Beans, Okra, Bitter Gourd). Simply add any additional vegetables you desire.
  • 1/4 sliced beef or any other type of meat to add flavor
  • Oyster sauce and soy sauce
  • Seasonings and salt
  • 2 tablespoons of any type of cooking oil
  • 2 Cups Water
  • Spicies for food (Sliced Onion and Sliced Garlic)

How to Make a Popular Filipino Vegetable Dish PINAKBET

  1. I prepared all of the ingredients listed above.
  2. Turn on the stove and heat the frying pan.
  3. When it's hot enough, add a tablespoon of whatever cooking oil you want and wait for it to heat up.
  4. Cook the onion and garlic until golden brown.
  5. When it's golden brown, add the sliced beef or any other meat you want to add and mix it well with the spices, then add some water to cook and cover.
  6. Uncover the frying pan and check to see if the beef is done.
  7. Depending on your preferences, add some soy sauce and oyster sauce.
  8. If you want to add some flavor, season with salt and seasonings.
  9. When the beef is done, mix in all of the sliced vegetables.
  10. If the water is insufficient to cook the vegetables, add some more, then cover and cook until done.
  11. Wait at least 4 minutes before checking to see if the vegetables are properly cooked and tasting them.
  12. The PINAKBET is now ready to be served after more than 5 minutes.

This is the finished product of my cooking today, my favorite PINAKBET, and it will be our breakfast this morning. This is a very simple and inexpensive recipe that I hope everyone will enjoy cooking and trying.
