Hi Hive friends, I am very happy to return after a while without uploading content, I will start with a delicious beef stew with potatoes.

Hola amigos de Hive, estoy muy contenta de regresar después de un tiempo sin subir contenidos, empezaré con una rica carne de res guisada con papas.

The advantages of cooking beef with potatoes is that you can accompany it with pasta, rice, plantains and even a salad.

Las ventajas de cocinar carne de res con papas es que la puedes acompañar con pasta, arroz, plátanos y hasta una ensalada.


Ingredients / Ingredientes


½ kg of meat to stew (inside muscle)
6 medium tomatoes
4 medium potatoes
1 small onion
6 garlic cloves
2 tablespoons of annatto in grains
2 sweet peppers
½ paprika
1 sprig of celery Spain
4 tablespoons olive oil
Salt
½ teaspoon cumin
½ kg de carne para guisar (pulpa negra)
6 tomates medianos
4 papas medianas
1 cebolla pequeña
6 dientes de ajo
2 cucharas de onoto en granos
2 ajíes dulce
½ pimentón
1 ramita de apio españa
4 cucharadas de aceite oliva
Sal
½ cucharadita de comino


Method / Preparación


• After washing and cleaning the meat, it's seasoned with salt, crushed garlic and cumin, then reserved in the fridge.

• Peel and cut the carrot and potatoes into medium squares.

• Wash and blend the tomatoes, place them in a pot together with the chopped celery stalk.

• Después de lavar y limpiar la carne, se adereza con la sal, ajo triturado y comino, se reserva en la nevera.

• Pelamos y cortamos la zanahoria y papas en cuadros medianos.

• Se lavan y licuan los tomates, se colocan en una olla junto con el tallo del apio España picado en trocitos.

• The onion, paprika and sweet peppers are fried in annatto oil.

• While the seasonings are fried, add the seasoned meat.

• Add the meat and vegetables to the pot where the tomato blend is.

• Add salt to taste.

• Leave it for about 30 minutes over medium heat, with a lid to soften faster and concentrate the flavor of the ingredients.

• La cebolla, pimentón y ajíes se ponen a fritar con el aceite onotado.

• Estando los aliños fritos se le agrega la carne aderezada.

• Se agrega la carne y las verduras a la olla donde está el tomate licuado.

• Se le agrega la sal al gusto.

• Se deja alrededor de 30 minutos a fuego medio, con una tapa para que se ablande más rápido y se concentre el sabor de los ingredientes.

This is how my stewed beef turned out, I accompanied it with rice, fried plantains and as a detail I added some oregano leaves to flavor the flavor much more.

Así quedó mi carne de res guisada, lo acompañé con arroz, plátanos fritos y como detalle le agregué unas hojas de orégano para aromatizar mucho más el sabor.

Thanks for sharing the recipe. I will try it out, but can someone prepare the stew without frying,, because I avoid fried food.
