Good evening to all my hive friends, how are you? Today I have brought a new dish to share with you. dal Vade is a popular South Indian snack in Sri Lanka. It consists of deep oil fried dal with traditional spices and added extras. I used shrimp for this. And we can add vegetables to this too. In this particular recipe, we add a unique twist by adding prawns to the dal mixture. Lentil Prawn Wada combines the flavors of lentils and seafood to create a crunchy dish. So let's see how to prepare this delicious dish.

Ingredients;
🍀 About 10 small prawns.
🍀 Dal 200g.
🍀 A little finely chopped onion.
🍀 Finely chopped curry leaves.
🍀 2 or 3 green chillies or kochi chilli pods, chopped.
🍀 1 1/2 teaspoons of crushed chili powder.
🍀 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
🍀 1 teaspoons of pepper powder.
🍀 Salt to taste.
🍀 Coconut oil or vegetable oil 200 ml.

First, leave the dal to soak for about an hour, wash them well and put them in a blender and blend them into a paste. As in the following images.
2 step.
Then add onions, curry leaves and green chillies to the blended dal mixture.
Again add chili powder, turmeric, salt and pepper powder to it.
3 step.
Then mix it all well.
4 step.
Subsequently, prepare the lentil paste by thoroughly blending the ingredients until achieving a cohesive, small-sized ball of dough. Flatten this dough to a thin consistency and carefully position a cleaned shrimp on it. Roll the dough once more, enclosing the shrimp within, as illustrated in the forthcoming pictures.
5 step.
Next, take a cooking pot, add oil, and allow it to heat over a low flame. Gently place the prepared shrimp wade into the pot one by one and fry them until they achieve a golden-brown hue.

This is very tasty and easy to prepare. The advantage we have is that we are able to prepare it at home without artificial sweeteners. So it also provides a unique culinary experience with a crunchy and satisfying bite. This combination of lentils and prawns is full of goodness. Try this yourself. I will meet again with a new dish.
