Hola Foodies! How's it going ?
Good to see you guys again on this beautiful sunday! 😊

I just live in a new neighborhood in the city of Semarang, Central Java... I don't even know many people around here, but I already have good friends in the neighborhood where I live. πŸ€—

Yesterday I was invited to a satay barbeque at one of my friends' houses, and this is satay swan, hmm very interesting, I've never tasted it before... 😊 Satay is one of the traditional foods and is very popular in Indonesia, there are various types of meat that can be made into satay, such as beef, buffalo, deer, goat, chicken, to as in this post, swan meat...

I have asked my friends about how to cook delicious swan satay like this, and finally I have found the recipe... now I'm gonna share this swan satay recipe with you guys... and here you go! 😊

First of all, let's begin by this list of ingredients.

Ingredients:

1.) a swan (1 to 2 Kg.)
2.) 7 cloves of shallot
3.) 5 cloves of garlic
4.) sweet soy sauce
5.) tomato sauce
6.) chilli
7.) Butter
8.) a basin of water

Item to use:

Skewer, satay grill, plate, bowl, and spoon.

Process:

1.) first of all, chop the swan meat in small sizes (2 cm diameter), then wash the meat until clean, then stick it on the skewer that has been prepared...

2.) Prepare firewood and burn until the fire is burning. If you feel the firewood is smoldering, immediately place the satay grill on the coals...

3.) Arrange the prepared swan satay on the grill, while fanning, so that the heat is evenly distributed throughout the meat...

4.) While waiting for the satay to be roasted, we can prepare the extra seasoning first... the trick is, chop the chili, shallots, and garlics in small pieces, then add the sweet soy sauce, tomato sauce, and butter, then mix them...

5.) when the satay swan is half cooked, spread the extra seasoning that we mixed earlier on the surface of the meat evenly... (don't forget to flip the meat over so it doesn't burn)

6.) After the satay is cooked, please move the satay to the plate that has been provided previously, the remaining extra seasoning can be smeared back on the satay meat when eaten...
