In a province like Bohol, it's a surprise when we see a nice-looking cafe along the road and we had been passing by Dimaio's Cake Studio every time we go to Tagbilaran City. We planned on visiting the cafe but it took months of trying until one time when we were on the way to Tagbilaran, we decided to stop by for lunch or brunch.
Cake Studio by Rosalie as its branding is located at Puangyuta, Dimiao, Bohol. It started as a hobby that became an intense passion. I was surprised to read on their website right at this moment that they have over 5 years of cake-making experience and a PME Professional Diploma and Masters Certificate qualification from the UK.
According to their website, all their cakes are bespoke and handcrafted which means that your cake is made exclusively and uniquely for you.
I like how their cafe looks from the outside, especially at night, they have hanging lights in front, they got a mini table set up as well and there's a bike with some flowers at the window side.
I was excited going inside. I am glad there was no other car parked at that front but we were asked to move and go to the parking area instead beside the building! We didn't notice there was a sign of a car parking in the distance.
Getting in, we were greeted by accommodating staff. The interior looks neat and the natural light coming inside made it fresh and light. I love natural light!
There were seats available for those who are waiting for their takeaway orders, then there are also tables and chairs for those dining in.
These above are for those who are just going to wait for takeaway cake orders. Adjacent to those chairs is a shelf with many things in it - coffee beans, some cake decoration items, food coloring, little liquor bottles but what my little one was after were the toys at the bottom! He immediately recognized it and took them by hand!

They got packed cookies available at the counter. Their coffee machine is also visible from here and they also offer tea too! They got ready-made cakes for those who want to buy one. I find their pricing affordable considering the size. I would love to try their choco moist but was not able to get a slice order for some reason, I forgot about it.
I appreciate that they have a high table and chair facing the front window, this allowed my husband to do some quick work while we were waiting for our orders. We were handed out their menu as soon as we choose a table for ourselves. Matti on the other hand was already busy with the puzzle board! He loves puzzles!

Our orders started to arrive. First was the milk tea then hubby's coffee latte! It came out really pretty and aesthetic! I used their dried flowers here! It's so cute!
Then the rest came in, there's a sandwich, fries for Matti, pork nachos which looked really good and it tasted good as well! They got a pizza bread too and we ordered two.

All the food tasted good. The coffee was really good as well! I forgot to take a photo of their menu though but I swear, their pricing is reasonable and is easy on the pocket! I like how they presented their food and waiting time was not too long. I was quite satisfied with their service!
They got chocolate chip cookies which were priced at Php 35 per pack of five. I thought it was very affordable, I bought a few packs and Matti liked them however, it was just a normal cookie, nothing spectacular about it and I understand why its priced very cheaply. I hope they have a better chocolate chip cookie option in the future!
