Filipinos love to eat and there is no denying it as I am one of them. The rise of restaurants that offer unlimited food is very fascinating and sometimes overwhelming. Buffets, unlimited chicken wings, samgyeopsal (pork belly), pork lechon, seafood, street foods, you name it, the Philippines has it.

As someone who adores food so much, I am always up for food trips and trying new flavors. Personally, I love chicken wings, so we always go to restaurants that offer them. Some of the restaurants I tried were Wingers Unlimited and Burrows. I also have to make a special mention to the best Honey Garlic and Parmesan flavor - the NY Buffalo Brads Hot Wings. Although they don’t offer unlimited chicken wings, their food is worth it. A must-try! Recently, they opened their newest branch in Mango Avenue.
Last Sunday, I was dragged by my friends to go out since I am living alone. We first went to SM City Cebu to grab sweets in the SM StartUp section. We bought 2 slices of cheesecakes (Matcha Flavor & New York Style). It’s not that bad, but I've had better cheesecakes. We also bought cannoli from Mark’s Cannoli. I don’t know what they should taste like but they were creamy but not overly sweet. We bought 3 flavors - Almonds, Java Chip and S’mores. We did not finish them because we didn't want to lose the appetite for the unlimited chicken wings for dinner.
We waited for our other friends so we could head out for dinner. We picked Delish Deli located in the Avenir Building along Archbishop Reyes Road, Cebu because they were offering unlimited chicken wings, waffles, and fries. Unfortunately, when we arrived there, the crew told us that their unlimited promo was lifted last week. We were all disappointed because their Facebook page was not updated. ☹️
Since all of us are famished, we decided to check for other restaurants that offer unlimited chicken wings, that is when we ended up in Boss Manok. They are located in Salinas Dr, Cebu City near IT Park. Good thing, when we arrived there were available seats for us.
We immediately ordered because we know the waiting time would be long. They are priced at 249/person ($4.75) with unlimited chicken wings & rice. We opted to get the 249 + 69 pesos ($6.07) so we can also avail of their unlimited fries and juice. They also have an option to add 49 pesos ($0.94) for unlimited fries only. (I did not get to take a picture of their menu because I was really hungry 😭)
They first served the rice, fries, and cucumber juice. They have different flavors of juice to choose from (Cucumber, blue and pink lemonade, iced tea, pineapple).
After some time, they served our chicken wings! We also chose to separate the sauce instead of mixing it with the chicken, just in case we don’t like the flavors. I personally love their Teriyaki sauce, other sauces are Classic Buffalo, Gravy, Lemon pepper, barbeque, sriracha, spicy korean sauce and cheese sauce.
We couldn’t wait any longer and started digging in. I can no longer count the number of chicken wings we finished. Although, I did not like their fries because it was too dry and oily. Their chicken is cooked perfectly, it’s crispy with a hint of saltiness and it is served piping hot! We ate, talked and laughed for 3 hours.
Overall ratings, it’s a 7/10 for me. The spicy sauce was not spicy enough, and the fries were not good. Their chicken wings are good though so I suggest that you try them out!
We were so busy chatting that we did not get to take a lot of pictures. Catching up over good food has always been our way. Also, my phone is on the verge of breaking down, my camera shakes when I use them. I need a new one, but my wallet says that I have to endure it for a while. 😂😭
