Eating Pomelo and Imagining A Japanese Traditional Yuzu Bath
I love eating citrus fruits very much. I saw this rare fruit at a local supermarket. They sometimes sell interesting Asian foods. Pomelo is very similar to grapefruits. Originally from Malaysia (could be East South Asia, Taiwan, or South China), I guess.
I noticed the Chinese character '黄金柚' on the pretty package. '黄金' means golden, and '柚' is the yuzu citrus fruit in Japanese. I love Yuzu very much. Yuzu is much smaller than Pomelo. I decided to buy one pomelo and enjoyed eating it. It was a big fruit, so it lasted for a few days to finish.
It's very rare to wrap fruits or vegetables like this in Canada. People don't wrap them using plastics or other materials like they do in Japan. I was immediately attracted to this appearance when I saw it.
It's nice to see Chinese characters at the store. I don't speak Chinese or Taiwanese, but I can read Chinese characters in Japanese, so it's nice to understand most of their meanings.
The smell is very nice. I love citrus fruits very much. It's nice to eat, smell, and touch citrus.
The inside is very juicy and sweet. The taste is pretty similar to grapefruits. I want to buy it again when I see it at the store.
When I tried to create an AI image of the Japanese traditional Yuzu bath, the image came out with chopped yuzu floating in the bath. Usually, people don't cut Yuzu like this into the bath, but I like this image because it's pretty. When I researched the Yuzu bath, I found that some people do cut Yuzu fruits like this!
This AI image is pretty close to the traditional Japanese Yuzu bath. People make Yuzu baths around the winter equinox to avoid sickness or bad luck. It's good for mental health and maintaining healthy body conditions, including skin conditions. They look pretty and make everybody feel good. I miss having a Japanese bath a lot!

ポメロを食べながら日本の伝統的な柚子風呂のことを考える
私は柑橘系の果物が大好きです。地元のスーパーでこの珍しい果物を見かけました。このスーパーではたまに面白いアジアの食べ物を見かけます。これはポメロ（ザボン）というグレープフルーツに似た果物です。おそらくマレーシア産（または東南アジア・中国南部・台湾）だと思います。
漢字で「黄金柚」と書いてあるかわいらしいパッケージが目にとまりました。黄金の柚という意味なのでしょうか。柚はポメロよりも小さいです。このポメロを一つ購入してみました。けっこう大きくて食べ終わるのに数日かかりました。
こんな風にラッピングしてあるのはとても珍しいです。カナダでは日本のようにプラスチックや他の素材で包んであることは滅多にありません。見た目の可愛らしさにすぐに惹かれました。
お店で漢字を見かけるのはとても嬉しいです。中国語や台湾語は日本語と共通する漢字が多いので文字の意味がだいたいわかるので楽しいです。
香りがとてもいいです。柑橘系の果物は味も香りもいいですし、触っても心地よいので大好きです。
中身はとてもジューシーで甘いです。味はグレープフルーツに似ています。また見かけたら購入したいです。
AIで日本の伝統的な柚子湯の画像を作った時にこの輪切りの画像が一番初めに出てきました。たいてい柚はそのままお風呂に浮かべることが多いのではないかと思いました。ところが、柚子湯について調べてみるとこんな風に輪切りにして浮かべることもあるようです。
このAI画像はかなり日本の柚子湯に近い画像だと思います。冬至の時に病や厄除けのために柚子湯に入ります。心の健康や体や肌の調子を整えるのに効果的です。見た目も可愛らしいですし気分も良くなります。日本のお風呂が恋しいです！

You know once I saw on YouTube that people in some parts of Japan used to take bath in noodles tub, I was amazed to see that, is it true or fake.
It could be a tradition of Kagawa Prefecture to eat Udon noodles upon moving into a new house, but I'm not deeply familiar with the culture. It's always fascinating to learn about unique customs like this!
