Good evening dear friends, I hope you had a great Thursday.... This time, I will explain how to prepare a "light lemon cake", this recipe has NO butter, eggs or milk. I hope you are encouraged to prepare this delight and enjoy a VERY tasty and delicious snack in the company of your family and friends... Let's put on the apron!

Buenas noches queridos amigos, espero que hayan pasado un jueves genial... En ésta ocasión, les explicaré como preparar un "ligero bizcocho de limón", ésta receta NO lleva mantequilla, huevos ni leche. Espero que se animen a preparar ésta delicia y disfruten de una merienda MUY sabrosa y deliciosa en compañía de sus familiares y amigos... Pongámonos el delantal!

  • We will start using the dry ingredients: sift 2 cups of wheat flour, together with 1 tablespoon of baking powder (mix).
  • Empezaremos utilizando los ingredientes "secos": tamizamos 2 tazas de harina de trigo, junto con 1 cucharada de polvo de hornear (mezclamos).

  • Add 1 cup of sugar and the zest of 1 lemon.
  • Colocamos 1 taza de azúcar y la ralladura de 1 limón.

  • In this step, we incorporate the "liquid" ingredients, add: 250 ml of warm water, 60 ml of sunflower oil and 100 ml of lemon juice (6 heaped tablespoons).
  • En éste paso, incorporamos los ingredientes "líquidos", añadimos: 250 ml de agua tibia, 60 ml de aceite de girasol y 100 ml de zumo de limón (6 cucharadas colmadas).

  • Then, mix until a homogeneous mixture without lumps is obtained.
  • A continuación, mezclamos hasta conseguir una mezcla homogénea y sin grumos.

  • The consistency of this cake is a little light, NOT so thick.
  • La consistencia de éste bizcocho es un poco ligera, no es TAN espesa.

  • Add the mixture to a buttered and floured bowl. Bake at 180º degrees for 45-50 minutes or until it is ready.
  • Agregamos la mezcla a un bowl enmantequillado y enharinado. Horneamos a 180º grados durante 45-50 minutos o hasta comprobar que está listo.

  • After 50 minutes of baking our exquisite cake is ready!
  • Transcurridos 50 minutos de cocción nuestro exquisito bizcocho esta listo!
