Today I was provoked to make some delicious yucca fritters. Tradition which is made in the days of Easter.
Today I bring you this delicious recipe that I am sure you will love.
Aquí tenemos los ingredientes:
- Aceite.
- 2 Kilos de yuca dulce.
- 1/2 Kilo de ñame.
- 1 Taza de harina de trigo leudante.
- Clavos especies.
- Ramitas de canela.
- Azúcar al gusto.
- 1/2 Papelón.
- 1 Huevo.
Here are the ingredients:
- Oil.
- 2 Kilos of sweet yucca.
- 1/2 Kilo of yam.
- 1 cup of leavening wheat flour.
- Cloves spices.
- Cinnamon sticks.
- Sugar to taste.
- 1/2 Papelón.
- 1 egg.
Paso 1:
Se pelan las yucas y el ñame con la ayuda de un cuchillo. Como se muestra en la foto.
Step 1:
Peel the yuccas and yams with the help of a knife. As shown in the photo.
Paso 2:
Se lavan con agua muy bien el ñame y las yucas.
Step 2:
Wash the yams and yuccas very well with water.
Paso 3:
Una vez lavadas las verduras, se colocan en una cacerola en la cocina a fuego alto con suficiente agua a hervir por aproximadamente 1 Hora. Es decir cuando ya estén blandas.
Step 3:
Once the vegetables are washed, place them in a saucepan on the stove over high heat with enough water to boil for about 1 hour. That is when they are already soft.
Paso 4:
En una cacerola con medio litro de agua colocamos el papelón ya rallado, con las especies. Lo colocamos a fuego medio en la cocina, sin dejar de revolver por aproximadamente media hora. Una vez transcurrido el se apaga el Melao.
Step 4:
In a saucepan with half a liter of water, place the grated paprika and the spices. We place it over medium heat on the stove, stirring constantly for about half an hour. Once elapsed the Melao is turned off.
Paso 5:
Una vez lista las yucas, se sacan del agua y se espera que se repose aproximadamente 25 minutos. Ya transcurrido el tiempo se lleva la ayuda al molino para molerla. Como visualiza en la imagen.
Step 5:
Once the yuccas are ready, take them out of the water and wait for them to rest for approximately 25 minutes. Once the time has elapsed, the help is taken to the mill to grind it. As shown in the image.
Paso 6:
Cuando ya tenemos la masa obtenida del molino, se le agregan los ingredientes, el huevo, la harina de trigo y la azúcar. Se procede a amasar hasta que se despegue del bold.
Step 6:
When we have the dough obtained from the mill, add the ingredients, the egg, the wheat flour and the sugar. Proceed to knead until it comes off the bold.
Paso 7:
Una vez ya lista la masa. Se procederá a formar las bolitas en forma de boñuelo.
Step 7:
Once the dough is ready. Proceed to form the dough balls in the shape of a doughnut.
Paso 8:
En una paila con aceite apenas calentito, se le agregan las bolitas. Luego se voltean, sin dejar quemar. Como se mira en la foto.
Step 8:
In a pan with barely warm oil, add the balls. Then turn them over, without letting them burn. As shown in the photo.
Paso 9:
Ya fritos los buñuelos se sacan de la paila y se colocan en un plato.
Step 9:
Once the fritters are fried, remove them from the pan and place them on a plate.
Paso 10:
Buscamos el Melao de papelón e introducimos nuestros ricos boñuelos. Lo dejamos reposar en la nevera por media hora. Mientras se remojan bien con su juguito de papelón. Y ya están listos para comer mi gente hermosa.
Step 10:
We look for the Melao de papelón and we introduce our rich doughnuts. Let it rest in the refrigerator for half an hour. While they soak well with its juice of papelón. And they are ready to eat my beautiful people.

Aquí tenemos los boñuelitos ricos.
