Tofu Steak (ENG/ PT/ DE)

Homemade Tofu Steak

Ingredients:

  • Tofu
  • Garlic
  • Tomato sauce
  • Olive oil
  • black pepper
  • Soya sauce
  • Breadcrumbs
  1. Drain the tofu, and cut into your steak sized pieces.
  2. Prepare the sauce.
  3. When you are ready to make your tofu steaks, add the sauce to the tofu.
  4. Add the breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. When hot enough, carefully fry the tofu pieces until they are gold brown on both sides, and heated through. About 5 minutes. The breading can be a bit fragile and falls off easily, so for me the best technique was to use a large spatula (and not tongs) for flipping. Just be gentle when handling the tofu.

Bife de Tofu caseiro

Ingredientes:

  • Tofu
  • Alho
  • Molho de tomate
  • Azeite de oliva
  • pimenta preta
  • Molho de Soja
  • Breadcrumbs
  1. Escorra o tofu, e corte em pedaços do tamanho do seu bife.
  2. Prepare o molho.
  3. Quando estiver pronto para fazer os seus bifes de tofu, adicione o molho ao tofu.
  4. Acrescente o pão ralado.
  5. Aqueça o azeite numa frigideira em lume médio. Quando estiver suficientemente quente, frite cuidadosamente as peças de tofu até ficarem douradas de ambos os lados, e aqueça-as. Cerca de 5 minutos. A poção pode ser um pouco frágil e cair facilmente, por isso a melhor técnica foi usar uma espátula grande (e não uma pinça) para virar. Basta ser gentil ao manusear o tofu.

Hausgemachtes Tofu-Steak

Zutaten:

  • Tofu
  • Knoblauch
  • Tomatensauce
  • Olivenöl
  • schwarzer Pfeffer
  • Sojasauce
  • Paniermehl
  1. Den Tofu abtropfen und schneiden in Stücke bzw Scheiben schneiden.
  2. Sauce anrühren und vorbereiten, abkühlen lassen.
  3. Wenn du soweit sind, die Tofu-Steaks zuzubereiten, Lege die Tofu Stücke in die Sauce.
  4. Paniermehl dazugeben.
  5. Eine Pfanne mit Olivenöl erhitzen. Wenn heiß genug, die Tofu-Stücke vorsichtig von beiden Seiten goldbraun anbraten, ca. 5 Minuten. Die Panade kann etwas bröckeln, daher war für mich die beste Technik, eine Art Spatel (und nicht eine Zange) zum Wenden zu verwenden. Beim Umgang mit dem Tofu einfach vorsichtig sein.

It is full on grilling season here now, so I'll have to try this to make on the grill soon! Well, I'll prepare it then the boyfriend will grill it, haha. :)
