Hello hive community, an affectionate greeting to all, happy start of the weekend, I hope you are taking care of yourself to preserve an excellent state of health, taking all measures to succeed in this new challenge in which we are fortuitously involved in world level.


Today I want to share with you the preparation of a delicious coconut rice, it is easy to prepare, it is inexpensive, the ingredients are easy to find and it is also very nutritious, it serves adults and children. It is ideal to share with the family, share with neighbors and friends. For its elaboration, below I tell you that I used:

Hola comunidad colmena, un saludo afectuoso a todos, feliz inicio de fin de semana, espero se estén cuidando para conservar un estado de salud excelente, tomando todas las medidas para salir airosos de este nuevo reto en los que de manera fortuita nos vemos envueltos a nivel mundial.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes la preparación de un rico arroz con coco, es fácil de preparar, es económico, los ingredientes son de fáciles de conseguir y además es bien nutritivo, sirve a grandes y a chicos. Es ideal para compartir en familia, compartir con vecinos y amigos. Para su elaboración, a continuación les cuento que usé:


Ingredients: 1 kilos of rice 1 dry coconut ½ paper 8-10 cups of water ½ kilo of sugar Salt to taste Cinnamon stick Small anise Nutmeg powder Vanilla to taste
Ingredientes: 1 kilos de arroz 1 coco seco ½ papelón 8-10 tazas de agua ½ kilo de azúcar Sal al gusto Canela en palo Anís chiquito Nuez moscada en polvo Vainilla al gusto

Preparation:

Now I explain, step by step, how I did it:

The first thing is to chop the coconut, remove it from the shell and grate it, then water is added and squeezed to remove the milk; once we obtain the quantity of milk, we proceed to measure to know how many cups we obtained and to know how much rice to place. Then, 4 cups of rice are measured and washed well until the water is clean, and the 4 cups of rice are placed in a pot on the fire, with 8 cups of coconut milk, the grated half paper; cinnamon stick, small anise, nutmeg, vanilla and salt to taste. Let it boil, then try to see if it has the necessary amount of sweet; that is when the sugar is added to complement the sweet that is pleasant to the palate together with the papelón. After that, it is allowed to cook. Once the milk, which is the liquid to be cooked with, dries, cover it until the rice is soft. And voila, you are ready to serve and share with the family.

Preparación:

Ahora les explico, paso a paso como lo realicé:
Lo primero es picar el coco, sacarlo de la cáscara y rallarlo, luego se le coloca agua y se exprime para sacar la leche; una vez que obtenemos la cantidad de leche, procedemos a medir para saber cuántas tazas obtuvimos y saber qué cantidad de arroz colocar. Luego, se miden 4 tazas de arroz y se lavan bien hasta que el agua quede limpia, y se coloca en una olla al fuego, las 4 tazas de arroz, con 8 tazas de leche de coco, el medio papelón rallado; canela en palo, anís chiquito, nuez moscada, vainilla y sal al gusto. Se deja hervir, luego se prueba a ver si tiene la cantidad de dulce necesaria; es ahí cuando se le va agregando el azúcar para complementar junto con el papelón el dulce que sea agradable al paladar. Después de ahí se deja cocinar, una vez que va secando la leche que es el líquido con el que se va a cocinar, se tapa hasta que el arroz este blando. Y listo, ya está listo para servir y compartir en familia.
