Hello, my dear Hivers! Here I am again for another blog. How's the entry of your love month been? I know that Valentine's Day is fast approaching and truly love is in the air! What's the plan? I'll leave it all to you because I know you all deserve to have a happy heart. Anyway, the blog that I am going to share is all about our recent visit to this amazing place here in Tabunok, Talisay City, Cebu, Philippines. Should we get started?
The place that I am referring to is none other than—Victoria's Halo Halo.
Victoria's Halo Halo is located at San Isidro Road, Tabunok, Talisay City, Cebu. They offer a variety of mouth- watering food to satisfy the customers cravings. They have halo- halo as their specialty, shakes, ice coffee, ice- cream, sandwiches, meals, soups and pica- pica that consists of squid ball, squid roll, tempura, siomai, french fries and hotdog on sticks. Their opening hours are from 3pm to 11 pm.

They have a very nice interior, everything is neatly organized and its atmosphere is very welcoming. They even have a special quote displayed on the mirror.
Here comes their second floor. I can't deny the fact that they have a calming ambience that resonates with you while you are in the place. It's also very spacious. You can choose where you want to have your seat or where you are comfortable. You can also have a look of the busy street from the above. Aside from the view, the refreshing air will give you warmth to prolong your stay. More than that, it's Instagram worthy too. You can take many photos as you want and let your social media friends know how amazing the place is.

And then....Our order is served. Since it's just me and my mom. We opted for two burgers and tempura. For their burgers, I would say it's 10/10. It's truly worth the price. For the tempura, it's perfectly cooked as well and we were even tempted to order for another batch. This is what we got for being a big foodie.
Of course, we will never forget to order a Halo Halo. We opted for the special Halo Halo since it's less expensive compared to super Halo Halo. For context, Halo Halo is a popular Filipino cold dessert composed of crushed ice, evaporated milk, tapioca pearls, ube and various toppings such as jelly, corn or even crackers. It's really a perfect dessert for a hot day.
Look who's happily enjoying their food. For our overall experience, I would rate it as 10/10. We would definitely be back soon and try more of their menu.
On our way to the tricycle terminal, we passed by a small vendor selling some affordable fruits. So, my mom decided to buy some. My mom really likes root crops, veggies and fruits. We always have those staples in the house.
Next stop was at a thrift store. My mom also loves to shop at thrift stores. She enjoys and loves it when she spends much of her time searching and looking for clothes that fit her. I guess the majority of her clothes were bought from a thrift store.
After an amazing day, we were finally able to board a tricycle and headed home. Our tummy was still full, we were even undecided whether to eat our dinner or not since we arrived home at 6pm. This only means that we truly enjoyed our experience at Victoria's Halo Halo and the mini stops that we had. I am hoping to have these kinds of bonding moments with my mom soon!
