First Time Making Egg Tarts From Bread

Fresh bread has a lot of recipes to try from it, one of which is a simple cake dish that is very popular on social media. The egg tart recipe is a processed cake from white bread with a mixture of eggs and milk. This cake has a unique taste that is certainly suitable for all ages, especially children, they will definitely like it because it is sweet and soft, of course, the shape is also cute. Interestingly, the most important thing is that it is very healthy and has good nutritional content for them rather than children having to snack outside. Make this cake as a mainstay of breakfast or even snacks for them.

Egg tart bread is processed white bread with a mixture of ingredients in the form of eggs and milk. This bread is prepared by grilling it so that it produces crisp and soft bread. Certainly when grilled it will emit a fragrant aroma so that anyone will be tempted to enjoy it.

Ingredients

5 slices of white bread
150 ml full cream milk
2 eggs
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons sugar
¼ teaspoon vanilla
To taste salt




Cooking Procedure


Step 1


Combine milk with sugar, salt and cornstarch.

Step 2


Then add 2 eggs and beat well until well mixed.

Step 3


Then I cut the edges of the white bread and shape it according to taste. I cut all the sides to fold.

Step 4


Arrange in any baking bowl, then put the milk and egg mixture filling into the bread bowl. I also add into the mold aluminum foil bread skin so as not to be wasted, then bake on low heat 150 Celsius up and down for about 50 minutes or until it changes color.

My fresh bread egg tart is finished, so happy that the result is very beautiful, the color is creamy yellow and very creamy and soft inside. I browned the toasted part of the bread so that it was crispier and had the texture I wanted. The whole thing looks very interesting and definitely very authentic and anyone would love it.

The sweetness is very fitting on my tongue not over the fishy aroma of the egg is also not felt maybe because I added vanilla and also baked for a long time on a very low heat.
