Hey foodies, today I'm going to share another new recipe inspired by social media. They prepare fresh fruit dishes with a combination of seeds that you can easily find in my country, namely kolang kaling. At first glance, this dish resembles a drink, but in my country it is known as fruit pickle.



Pineapple Kolang Kaling Pickle

An inspiration for a popular fermented dish known as pickle. This dish is simple but requires patience to make because it goes through a fermentation process. Pineapple provides a very perfect fermentation result in pickles, so when combined with kolang kaling seeds, it will make the dish even better, right?.

Ingredients Used

200 grams of kolang kaling seeds
½ honey pineapple
2 squeezed oranges
1 lime
2 tablespoons of honey
½ teaspoon of salt




Procedure for Making


Boil the kolang kaling seeds until cooked, then boil in boiling water for about 20 minutes. Don't forget to add salt during the boiling process.

Peel the pineapple, cut it into small pieces, then blend until smooth like juice.

Prepare the orange and lime juice, then strain the orange juice and lime juice into the pineapple juice.

Add the juice to a sealed container, then add honey, stir again, and add the cooked kolang kaling seeds. Store in a sealed container for 4 to 5 hours in the refrigerator.
