NOW SHE'S MAKING THEM FROM QUAIL EGGS?

Whoa girl!!!

It's interesting to see a like get creative, and to like to create. In many ways, making these stuffed eggs can be a rather tedious task. To make them out of quail eggs is even trickier, because they are so much smaller. This was Pinkie-Pepper's idea, and what a great idea it was.

After hard-boiling the eggs, Pinkie-Pepper mixed some Spicy Dijon Mustard, Dill Weed, Mustard, Paprika, Mustard, Salt, Mayonnaise, and Lemon Juice together with the yolks. The final presentation was fantastic, and these were such a wonderful sized appetizer for our dinner the other night. Have you ever tried such tiny stuffed eggs? This was my first time, and I owe it to my ambitious and creative daughter Pinkie! Enjoy the photos.

Excellent idea.... and they look delish !

Well, this is interesting. But coming from a family who had chickens for pest control, and living the "country life." Don't know how you feel about hunting but I've done that humanely as an adolescent (33 now) to help feed the fam. There were six of us and we couldn't afford the growth hormone and God Knows what else is in that meat...
I knew u could eat quail eggs i just haven't, but totally would.:)

Yes, back in the mid 90s when working at a 4 star restaurant near Yosemite. It was one of the "appetizers" in the multi course weekend dinner. I remember the eggs covering the prep table and the icing bags filled with filling that we used. Quail are like rats in California there are so many and they got used in many recipes. Also served stuffed quail which was a major pain in the butt to prepare.
