What a delicious lunch I just had...I'm completely full and now want to rest a little bit!!!
So yes my dear friends, today my wife decided to cook fish - which we recently bought from our usual fish monger!
The fish was cleaned, marinated and fried until crispy accompanied with sautéed gourd and a nice thick lentils soup...
In fact last evening I did not have anything for diner...I was not feeling hungry at all! But today when I woke up...OMG, I was so hungry!
After my breakfast, I went to relax a bit more then came back in the dining room once food was ready...
The fish was marinated with salt, pepper, some herbs, garlic and mild spices...coated with flour and fried until golden brown in color...
And that delicious Lentils Soup...
This one also came out very yummy...nice and thick just like I love it...
I prefer lentils over all pulses, as the others make my stomach to burn...
Sautéed Gourd
Gourds are among my most favorite vegetables...you just have to cook it with onion, garlic, thyme with little oil...season with salt and pepper....and that's it!
And for drinks....this was the first time ever I saw this Pomegranate and Orange sparkling juice on the supermarket shelves...
So we tried it today and was nice - I will buy some more next time!
And my daughter had this coconut-pineapple soft drink...this is among my favorite drinks...
And here's how my lunch plate looked like...Most of the time I have rice while my wife loves bread...
Monday has started amazingly well with delicious foods....now it's time to prepared something for tea time then I'll get ready for work!
