Hi, today I want to show you the cake I made for my boy's birthday last month.

It was fun to try this recipe that I found on the internet, but I modified because I was missing some of the ingredients.

I took some of the frozen fruit out to thaw so I could use it in the cream.

Извадих малко от замразените плодове за да се размразят за да мога да ги използвам в крема.

I started whipping the pastry cream. I don't know why I decided to do it by hand and not with a mixer... It turned out to be too much liquid and I turned on the mixer, even if it was 1 pm ...

After whipping the pastry cream, I added sugar to taste and the bucket of sour cream. It makes a stiffer cream and is perfect for cakes, but in my case I needed the main part of the cake to be cream, so I had to use a gimmick - gelatine

Започнах да разбивам сладкарската сметана. Не знайно защо реших че ще го направя на ръка а не с миксер... Оказа се твърде много течно вещество и включих миксера, дори и да беше 1 часа вечерта ...
След като разбих сладкарската сметана, добавих захар на вкус и кофичката заквасена сметана. Получава се по-твърда сметана и за торти е идеална, но при мен трябваше основната част на тортата да бъде крем, затова и се наложи да използвам хитринки - желатин

Everything was going well, until the moment when the fruit didn't defrost at the required speed and I decided to add some water to them to calm down the process... BIG MISTAKE. Everything turned into an ice block with fruit.

Всичко вървеше добре, до момента в който плодовете не се размразяваха с необходимата скорост и реших да добавя малко вода при тях за да успокоря процеса... ГОЛЯМА ГРЕШКА. Всичко се превърна в ледено блокче с плодове.

I decided to change strategy and blend the fruit so they could color the cake, after all they were frozen and I didn't have all the time in the world to wait for them.

Реших да сменя стратегията и да пасирам плодовете за да може да оцветят тортата, все пак бяха замръзнали а нямах цялото време на света за да ги изчакам.

Then I got to work on the gelatin. I honestly don't remember if I tackled it or did the blending and gelatin together.

From the bowl of fruit, there was some juice left from the fruit - so I decided to use that by adding a little more water. I microwaved it for about a minute - the water shouldn't have boiled and added the gelatin.

След това се заех с желатината. Честно казано не помня дали се захванах с него или ги правех заедно пасирането и желатината.

От купата с плодове, беше останал малко сок от плодовете - затова реших да ползвам него като добавя още малко вода. Захрах го в микровълновата печка за около минута - не трябва да е завирала водата и добавих желатината.

I then started to slowly add it to the whipped double cream. When the garbage was already uniform I started adding the blended fruit puree.

След това започнах бавно да го добавям към разбитите два вида сметани. Когато сметса беше вече еднородна започнах да добавям и пасираното плодово пюре.

I stirred with a wire whisk.

Разбърквах с телена бъркалка.

A homogeneous pink mixture was obtained.

Получи се еднородна розова смес.

I started preparing the container I was going to place the cake in. I covered the inside of the bowl in stretch film, it turned out that there was no need but at almost 2 in the middle of the night what smarter thing to come up with :D

Започнах подготовката на съда в който щях да поставя тортата. Облепих в стреч фолио вътрешността на купата, оказа се че е нямало нужда ама почти в 2 часа посреднощ какво по-умно нещо да измислиш :D

I poured the cream.

Изсипах крема.

Turns out I made too much cream, and my bowl turned out to be smaller and didn't hold it, so I decided to make a smaller cake for my parents' "party". I used shortbread for the top.

Оказа се че съм направила прекалено много крем, а купата ми се оказа по-малка и не го събира, затова реших да направя и една по-малка торта за "партито" при родителите ми. За нея използвах бисквити за блат.

The moment came with the completion of the cake.
I opened the package with the ready-made marshmallows and chose one that was glued to the cellophane.

Дойде момента със завършването на тортата.
Отворих пакета с готовите блатове и избрах такъв който е залепен за целуфана.

The buttercream should be filled to the edge of the bowl so it can stick to the marshmallows.

Крема трябва да е напълнен до ръба на купата за да може да залепне за блата.

The next day I inverted the bowl into a suitable dish. While I still hadn't removed the glass, I cut out the marshmallows. Once I removed the glass bowl, there were bumps on the cake from the foil, but with a knife I smoothed lightly over the shape and got a smooth finish. I decorated the cake with a few more frozen berries just before serving.

На другият ден обърнах купата в подходяща чиния. Докато все още не бях махнала стъклената къпа изрязох блата. След като махнах стъкленат купа, имае неравности по тортата от фолиото, но с нож леко загладих по формата и и се получи един гладък завършех. Украсих тортата с още няколко замразени горски плодове малко преди сервирането.
