Middle of last week I was invited to attend food tasting in Sugbo Merkado withe @hivecebubloggers members @purepinay @explorewithsasha @asasiklause @itsmiessyonpeakd @gerel @sassycebuana. Just a disclaimer. I'm not a professional food judge, chef, or any of that nature. The purpose of this food tasting is to review the food according to my taste.
For sure a lot of you guys can relate to me, so I am sharing my first ever food tasting experience plus a little chat with Chef Kristel.
Chef Kristel mentioned that her husband is an American. They love Mexican food. She then thought of bringing authentic Mexican dishes and more cuisines here in Cebu You can read more about Chef Kristel on her website.

L.A. Taco Truck
They offer authentic Mexican dishes. Here are some that I tried.
The taste is super authentic. The food was served in large portions. I even asked the chef if these were the normal sizes and yes it is. The taco with Mexican rice bowl is good for 2 people. If you don't eat meat or you're a vegetarian, they offer Quinoa bowls as well. They offer 2 tacos per serving and have 5 flavors to choose from. The taco salad as well as an option when you're on a diet. Plus, their homemade sauces are a must. I have added a photo of their menu.
Let’s Roll Sushi Bake
This one is my personal favourite. This is my first try on Sushi bake. I have heard it before and I thought it would be the same as the regular Sushi (fresh). Then I realized its name was “bake sushi” for a reason. It is cooked!. I never expected the taste to be super amazing. We tried the Signature Cali Maki. The dish is packed with flavors and then wrapped in nori (seaweed) is a must-try. Highly recommended!
