Fried Bread Sandwich Pocket

Hello Everyone,

This is my second post in this community. Because of my work, I couldn’t try new recipes for past few weeks.

But, I saw this recipe in somewhere while I was surfing the internet and decided to try it. It is very simple and needs only few ingredients.

Let me share how I made this simple fried bread pockets.

Ingredients:

•Few slices of a bread
•One or two eggs (depends on the number of bread slices)
•Breadcrumbs
•Oil
•A filling

I have used a potato filling for my sandwich since I was short on meat and sausages. You can use any filling that matches with your taste. As my opinions, this will be tastier with a creamy chicken filling.

Method for making:

First, we need to cut out the edges of the bread slices. After that we need to use a rolling pin and roll the bread slice into thin. When buying the bread choose a new sandwich bread. If it is older than one day, it will be hard to roll it thin. So the new one it the better for this.

I have cut the rolled slice into the round shape. So it looks nice and easy to put in my little pan.

After rolling the slices into very thin, next step is to dip it in the eggs. For this I first got one egg and whisked it a little bit. We can add little amount of water to increase the quantity of it.

After dip in the eggs, spread the breadcrumbs on both sides of the slice. That’s it.

We are halfway done with the sandwich.

Next thing is to get a pan and heat the oil. The keep the flame high. Not low heat or medium heat. It should be high. Unless the desired outcome will not come.

I have put one slice each time into the well heated oil pan and it starts to puff. We need to turn the sides carefully, not letting it burn. Since the oil heat is high, there is a big possibility of burning it, that’s why we need to act quickly.

After frying it, I took the puff off from the pan and cut it into two slices. Then I can get the pocket opened.

Then I have filled the pocket with my filling and it is time to serve 😁.
