The farm fresh radish that I got from the villages tempted us to try a new recipe - Mooli Ka Paratha - the Indian flat bread with radish as stuff. I am not sure, if you have heard about it or not, but its quite a famous recipe in north sides of India ( New Delhi and all). Usually, most of the places, you get potato as stuffed called Aloo ka partha, which the kids always like. We tried this first time at home, and it was very tasty - more importantly kids also liked it very much.

The process is not very difficult - you only need to make sure, you get fresh radish - its very important to get them fresh for better taste. We prepare the cottage cheese every day at home - the water of that is very helpful to soften the dough. And more ever it has lot of proteins. So to prepare the dough, we add a little oil to wheat flour, salt to taste and then use the cottage cheese water.

Cover the dough with a cloth and leave it till you use.

Grate the radish, cut some fresh soft radish leaves as well and mix after cutting them - it adds the crispiness. Add crushed ginger, ajwain, Kashmir Mirch for color. Put salte, mix them well and leave it for 5-10 minutes. Ajwain brings a unique flavor and also helps in digestion. Even though people say, one should not eat radish if having gastritis, eating this is not going to cause any trouble. Instead it will help.

The salt helps to extract the juice - squeeze it by hand to extract all the juice.

Then fry it with little oil for 5 minutes, and add some coriander powder and the stuff is ready.

And then put the stuff and make paratha - quite simple, isn't it ?

I could never make a roti or paratha - not that simple, one needs that practice. Couple of times I tried, and it came like an India Map 😀. My wife added a nice curry with it, apart from sweet curd and salad, papad, and rice.

Nature always gives us different vegetables in different seasons and there is a purpose behind it. You can search for the health benefits of radish - it has power to heal even cancer, apart from various other benefits. So we must eat these seasonal vegetables when they are available.

And by the way, this was in lunch menu and the evening has gone nice as well.

The kids loving it makes all the difference @sanjeevm. I've never seen those long rashishes. Ours are all small and round. But I'm definitely going to try your recipe next time I make cottage cheese

Hello dear friend @sanjeevm good afternoon
I love this type of stuffed bread, we prepare different breads with horatlizas, but they are not fillings, they are included in the flour.
I loved this stuffed bread recipe, you make it look easy. I appreciate that you let us know your recipes and customs.
I wish you a beautiful afternoon

WE hear stuffs like this - we also make aloo paratha - in which stuff is made out of potato - everyone's favorite.

I really like its culinary culture, along with that of Peru, it is classified as the best food in the world
Have an excellent day

I want to try this recipe; I have been trying to figure out what to do with my radishes😍🙏

This is best - we also directly fry them directly using cumin seeds, coriander powder and oil. There is another version that is more tasty - make a batter out of rice, grind it with cumin seeds, ginger, mustard (a little), garlic, green chilies. Then dip the radish pieces in that and fry - its very very tasty.

Nature always gives us its excellent vegetables which have many benefits for the body, in this case the radishes have vitamin C, very important for symptoms such as colds and other things. Regarding the recipe it looks delicious, I had never heard about the Roti or Paratha but the truth is that it looks good, Indian cuisine is very interesting and varied!

Roti or Paratha are must to have every day - most people eat it in the dinner - being a bit light dinner.

Wow! Looks so tasty!! 😆👏😆👏

I have prepared a very high recipe. I have seen red radish for the first time today. We have only white radish

Ya, not everywhere you get the red variety - its a bit expensive than the white, but tastier as well.

Is that a pea salad? It's really amazing to see those fresh vegetables. Feeling run to come and get it.
