Hi Hivers, It's me again @sishi with another yummy experience👋
How we can say “No” to wake up and step out if a day is full of clouds and windy. It was a Sunday and a better day to refresh our minds to restart for a new working day, Monday. I have a team of girls which are like Choco chips for my cookies who raise hands for high fives to travel anytime. 😍
So, we’ve planned to go on a picnic in the garden. That is named as “Henarathgoda Botanical Garden” which is located in Gampaha city, Sri Lanka.
A picnic without food is surely a waste of time. So, we packed some ready-made food packets including our favorite flavored biscuit packets, brownies with chocolate chips which one of us pre-ordered (specially customized choco yummy brownies), casava snack, chocolates, some fruits, fried rolls, sausage pieces, and a mega bottle of soft drink (Since we all are non-alcoholic). 🤤🥪🍓🍊
We thought of making yummy cheesy burgers by ourselves rather than buying them. So, we bought burger buns, ham, cheese slices, tomatoes, onions, lettuce with sauce, and mayonnaise. Then we assembled and prepared cheesy hamburgers. 🍔
After packing all the stuff, we started our little journey. More or less, we spent 20-25 minutes arriving at our destination. First, we need to park our vehicle in a position where there were not many coconut trees ensuring a harm-free environment for our vehicle. Then we needed to buy tickets to enter the park.😎
The next very important mission was to find a satisfactory location to arrange our pieces of stuff. After pointing out hundreds of various locations we have found a better place to put our stuff ( Clap for us). Then we carefully and attractively arranged our food and took several clicks for our memory book. 🤩🤗
Finally, we came to the interesting part of our picnic, tasting foods and resting. Don’t wonder, we have completed that part 100% better than we expected. Because of our cheesy yummy burgers, we couldn’t stand up for another 30 mins. Hence, though we wished to wander around the park, we took that part away and stepped back from the park.
That's how we spent our foodie picnic nicely and calmly.
