Hoy prepararé para ustedes una receta que en lo particular me trae muy gratos recuerdos, pues se trata de una rica paella de pollo, este plato lo degustábamos mucho cuando íbamos a la playa, sobre todo aquellos días de semana santa cuando se reunía toda la familia a disfrutar de tiempos de vacaciones, tiempo de calidad juntos, queriéndonos, compartiendo risas, momentos, alegrías, cariño y claro ese arroz con pollo no podía faltar, era algo como que obligado a preparar y que todos disfrutábamos comer, mi abuela y mi madre se esmeraban por hacer la mejor comida de ese año y recuerdo que algunos primos comían con un gusto sin igual, tanto así que luego de muchos años de aquellas tertulias y encuentros familiares, al encontrarnos y recordar siempre es un comentario obligado hablar de la comida y por supuesto la paella de pollo es el invitado estrella en nuestras conversas de los recuerdos culinarios, por tal motivo hoy comparto con ustedes esta experiencia gastronómica que me es tan cercana y nostálgica, así que los invito a ver como se prepara.

Para nuestra receta necesitamos lo siguiente:

Ingredientes a utilizar:

• 2 cuartos de pollo (muslos)
• 1 cebollas
• 4 ajíes
• 4 dientes de ajo
• 2 ramas de cebollín
• ½ cucharada de carmencita
• ½ cucharada de adobo
• Cuatro tazas de caldo de pollo
• Dos tazas de arroz
• ½ cucharadita de comino
• ½ cucharadita de orégano
• 1 tomate

Paso a paso para la preparación de la receta:

Limpiar, lavar y picar el pollo en pequeños trozos, sazonarlo con el adobo, orégano y comino, reservar.

Lavar y picar los aliños en trozos pequeños para luego llevar a sofreír con 5 cucharadas de aceite por espacio de 10 minutos a fuego bajo, una vez sofritos agregar el pollo condimentado, mezclar y dejar cocinar el pollo completamente por espacio de 20 minutos.

Ahora le agregamos el arroz y la carmencita, mezclamos y luego incorporamos el caldo de pollo, cocinar a fuego bajo hasta que el arroz ablande y el agua se evapore, aproximadamente entre 20 a 25 minutos.

Y de esta manera preparamos nuestro plato de hoy, una rica paella de pollo, especial para compartir con toda la familia o para una ocasión especial, la verdad es que es un plato muy apreciado y distinguido, te recomiendo que en lo que puedas prepáralo, no te arrepentirás, queda delicioso.

Today I will prepare for you a recipe that in particular brings me very fond memories, because it is a rich chicken paella, this dish we enjoyed it a lot when we went to the beach, especially those days of Easter when the whole family gathered to enjoy vacation time, quality time together, loving each other, sharing laughter, moments, joys, love and of course that rice with chicken could not miss, it was something like that forced to prepare and that we all enjoyed eating, My grandmother and my mother took great care to make the best food that year and I remember that some cousins ate with unparalleled taste, so much so that after many years of those gatherings and family gatherings, when we meet and remember is always a must talk about food and of course the chicken paella is the star guest in our conversations of culinary memories, for that reason today I share with you this gastronomic experience that is so close and nostalgic, so I invite you to see how it is prepared.

For our recipe we need the following:

Ingredients to use:

  • 2 chicken quarters (thighs)
  • 1 onion
  • 4 chili peppers
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 sprigs of chives
  • ½ tablespoon carmencita
  • ½ tablespoon of adobo
  • Four cups of chicken broth
  • Two cups of rice
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • 1 tomato

Step by step for the preparation of the recipe:

Clean, wash and chop the chicken into small pieces, season with the marinade, oregano and cumin, set aside.

Wash and chop the seasonings into small pieces and then fry with 5 tablespoons of oil for 10 minutes over low heat, once fried add the seasoned chicken, mix and let the chicken cook completely for 20 minutes.

Now add the rice and carmencita, mix and then add the chicken broth, cook over low heat until the rice softens and the water evaporates, approximately 20 to 25 minutes.
