This DIY recipe appeared in my collection not long ago. I found it among vegan recipes, and I had a great wish to cook it at once. The recipe is SUPER UNUSUAL!
We don't need flour, eggs, sugar, yest and other traditional for bread ingredients.
We need:
- 1 glass green buckwheat
- 1 glass millet
- water
- some salt
- sunflower seeds for decoration
and 20 hours of tolerance;)
Yeah, this recipe is not fast, but it's super healthy, sugar and glutenfree.
At first we soak buckwheat and millet for 10-12 hours.

Then we remove this water, wash them well and blend them together adding 1+1\3 glass of water
and....again 12 hours of waiting.
We need this time to start the process of fermentation.
USeful bacteria will work hard to make our future bread not only much more tasty but more healthy than without it.
When time is over, you'll see how your dough differs, it will be bulk and porous. And smell.....My God it is so tasty!
fermatation is one of the most useful process for our immunity and digestion.
Then we add some salt and plant butter and bake our bread in a special baking form.

it takes about 60 min.
The result is perfect!
My son couldn't wait until it was cool after baking and tried to eat it at once;))
It really smells so great!

very unusual recipe, and now it's my part of collection for sure.
Have you ever tried such bread, guys?
I haven't tried buckwheat. I find your recipe healthier than other kinds of bread. This must be included in the daily diet.
no buckwheat in your menu??
here it's super popular!
not green one, but a brown one
though green buckwheat is more healthy and alive
it can give sprouts very fast, and thus it becomes even more healhy!
I've always wanted to try buckwheat. I like this bread; seems like a good alternative to regular bread or tortillas 😌
no buckwheat in your local menu?
I thought it's a worldwide spread food....no??
