Butter Chicken (Ayam Mentega)

We are having another beautiful sunny day altho everywhere is wet. It rained over night! We did not expect that as we planned to go to the forest today. Guess muddy boots time later 😁😁😁😁

I have a good news to share. Starting tomorrow am working at a new place. So nervous, as this is a new job, a different kind of industry, new environment and people, but am excited at the same time. Crossing fingers all will be well. Wish me luck! 😍🤞🤞😍

Today's recipe is yummo. We love serving this dish with warm rice. You can use boneless chicken if you'd like, btw.

1.5 kg chicken pieces
1/2 c unsalted butter
1/2 c diced/chopped/sliced onions
1/2 tbsp minced garlic, store bought
1 tsp minced ginger, store bought
Sriracha sauce, sesame oil, oyster sauce, concentrated chicken liquid, to taste
1-2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1-2 tbsp sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
1/3 c water
1 tbsp crushed parsley
Roasted sesame seeds
Teriyaki sauce, to taste - optional
