Hello Hivers! How are you today? Is everything okay? Today I would like to introduce to you a new recipe, but very familiar and also a traditional dish in Vietnam. It's a chicken and cabbage salad. This dish has a sour, sweet, spicy, spicy taste, dipping with fish sauce is delicious and hard to resist. If you are someone who is looking to lose weight or eat clean diet, then this dish is a great dish to try. Ingredients are easy to find at markets and supermarkets, just a few simple steps to have delicious and new dishes. I'm sure you can do the same as me. Let's do it with me.
Materials include:
- Original chicken thighs 4: 1 piece
- Laksa leaves
- White or purple cabbage is fine.
- Onion
- Garlic
- Lemon leaves
- Ginger
- Sugar, fish sauce, chilli
Making:
Step 1: Wash chicken thighs with water and salt. Then wash the lemon leaves. Smash 2 cloves of red onion, cut 3 slices of ginger, 2 tablespoons of salt. All in a pot, add water to cover the chicken thighs, cover and boil for 30 minutes.
Step 2: Cut the cabbage thinly. Then add 2 tablespoons salt to the bowl and add water to soak for 5 minutes, then rinse with water. Drain the water and then start mixing the salad.
Step 3: Wash laksa leaves and cut onions thin and long as shown in the photo, then disassemble them, wash them with water to reduce the pungentness of onions.
Step 4: Make salad dressing: 1.5 tablespoons of sugar, 2 tablespoons of fish sauce, chilli "if you eat spicily", 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Mix it all together.
Step 5: After the chicken has finished boiling, let it cool. Then shred the chicken.
Step 6: Start mixing salad. Add chicken, cabbage to a bowl, add the prepared sauce, use specialized gloves to mix well, squeeze lightly. Finally, add laksa leaves and you're done.
Step 7: Dipping sauce with salad: 3 tablespoons fish sauce, 2 tablespoons sugar, 3 tablespoons warm water, one chilli, 1 clove of minced garlic. Mix well until the sugar dissolves finally cut half a lemon and squeeze the juice to add. Fish sauce has a sour, salty, sweet, and spicy taste that is standard.
