Mangalore is a small city and it's very hard to find a cafe where you can just sit and chat for hours without breaking the bank.
@mrsahil99 and I keep hanging around and visiting new places to check it out and see if it's worth visiting again with other friends.
Ome such place which we liked is Chacha chaiwala in Attavar area in Mangalore. It has an outdoor sitting area with simple chair and tables and a cheap menu.
You can sit there for 4-5 hours, keep on ordering from the menu and still end up spending only 200-250 bucks INR, unlike any other cafes where just one coffee costs that much.
The owner, Mr Haneef is quite friendly and open to suggestions. The other day @mrsahil99 and I suggested him a lot of changes and additions in the menu and when we went there next time, he had already implemented it.
That's what we liked about the place. They were open to ideas and suggestions. Also, there are 16 or more varieties of tea available here. Then you have bun maska, samosas, rolls, Maggi noodles and variety of other shakes and coolers.
