¿Queridos amigos, un gran saludo!. Llegó la temporada de mango en Venezuela, una fruta tropical demasiado sabrosa y dulce con gran variedades de tamaños y formas. No podía faltar la jalea. Es una de nuestras tradiciones de hacer "Jalea de Mango" como merienda en esta temporada. La podemos comer sola o utilizar como relleno de bizcochos, galletas, panes etc. Muy fácil y económica de preparar. Aquí les muestro mi receta y preparación. Espero les guste esta dulce y deliciosa jalea de mango. Buen provecho.

- 2 kilos de mango verde, 500 grs de azúcar, agua. Utilicé 500 grs de azúcar para 2 kilos de mangos, si lo quieres más dulce le añades a tu gusto.
- 4.40 lbs of green mango, 500 g of sugar, water. I used 500 grams of sugar for 4.40 lbs of mangoes, if you want it sweeter you can add it to your liking.

- Los mangos tienen que estar verdes. Lavar los mangos.
- The handles must be green. Wash the handles.
- Colocarlos en una olla con con suficiente agua, que cubra la cantidad.
- Place them in a pot with enough water to cover the amount.
- Cocinar por 45 min. Dejar enfriar y le quitamos la concha.
- Cook for 45 min. Let cool and remove the shell.
- Le extraemos la pulpa con ayuda de un cuchillo.
- We extract the pulp with the help of a knife.
- Colocamos la pulpa en un bol o un plato.
- We place the pulp in a bowl or a plate.
- Batimos a velocidad moderada, también se puede hacer manualmente con paleta de madera.
- We beat at moderate speed, it can also be done manually with a wooden paddle.
- Mientras batimos vamos agregado la azúcar.
- While beating we add the sugar.
- Batimos hasta ver que espese.
- Beat until thick.
- Servimos en porciones individuales o un tazón.
