Habt ihr euch schon für das HiveFest VR registriert? Heute und morgen ist die letzte Gelegenheit ein Gratis-Ticket zu bekommen und man braucht für die Teilnahme nicht unbedingt ein VR-Headset.
Habe die "2D Desktop-App" von AltspaceVR installiert und meinen Avatar erstellt. Die App war allerdings ein bisschen buggy und ist mir sogar einmal abgestürzt. Auch beim Anpassen des Avatars ist plötzlich der Avatar verschwunden, aber gut, ist halb so schlimm. Finde die Windows 2D App sogar praktischer, da es weniger anstrengend ist, als permanent eine VR-Brille tragen zu müssen.
Das HiveFest VR findet am 18. und 19. Dezember 2020 ab 17h (UTC) statt. Ist also für uns Europäer sogar eine angenehme Zeit.

Have you already registered for HiveFest VR? Today and tomorrow is the last chance to get a free ticket and you do not necessarily need a VR headset to participate btw.
I installed the "2D desktop app" from AltspaceVR and created my avatar. But the app was a bit buggy and even crashed once. Also when adjusting the avatar, the avatar suddenly disappeared, but well, it's not that bad. I even find the Windows 2D app more practical, because it is less exhausting than having to wear a VR headset all the time.
The HiveFest VR takes place on December 18th and 19th 2020 from 5 p.m. (UTC). So it is even a pleasant time for us Europeans.
Until tomorrow you still have time to take part in the @roelandp raffle if you create a HiveFest Attenendee card with your customized avatar like I did.

This is awesome, do you know if they’re plans for a in person HiveFest in the future? I remember when we had the steem fest and those use to be a blast and were very helpful
I think there will definitely be in-person HiveFests in the future when the whole corona / lockdown situation is resolved.
