CineTV Special Contest: CineTV Rising Star Card Contest || "Stop Crying Your Heart Out" film The butterfly Effect

in CineTV2 years ago
Greetings friends from CineTV, I am pleased to be back here and participate in another of your creative contests. I liked this theme a lot because I have identified with the soundtrack of the movies I have seen. Not with all of them, but it is definitely true that the music is decisive and must be related to the cinematographic film genre to the point of fitting in with its synopsis, it must be logical, it is my opinión.

Music or soundtrack in a movie is a very important element. It gives it a special plus that accentuates each of the different emotions expressed by the characters in the story. The soundtrack identifies the characters, sometimes just by listening to it we already know who it is, who will appear on the scene.

The music takes us to scenes of horror, romance, sensuality, comedy, action or sadness. The theme of this contest made me think, can you believe that from my favorite movies there are scenes that I hope to return to just for the song? Well yes friends, that happens to me, and that's why I remembered that "Vienna" is one of my favorite songs in the film " 13 Going on 30". It was not the only melody that I liked from this movie starring Jennifer Garner, it was a whole repertoire, and in fact, I downloaded some to my Ipod.

Now, if I have to pick a winning song, I have to say that number 1 is “Stop Crying Your Heart Out” by Oasis. It is the soundtrack of the end of the movie "The Butterfly Effect", with Ashton Kutcher as the main figure.

The film mixes fiction and drama in a lethal way, and when I say lethal it is because it is based on chaos theory and covers several very painful traumatic topics. The song "Stop Crying Your Heart Out" suits him well at the end of the film, where it is observed that despite the adverse circumstances of life, you have to accept what happened and move on.

The plot of the butterfly effect focuses on Evan Treborn (Ashton Kutcher), who suffers from brain problems, in itself, it is a degenerative disease that has to do with his memories and that he also inherited from his father. His life is somewhat sad, he experiences some traumatic events in childhood that he later wishes to erase when he reaches adulthood.

Already in college, Evan realizes that he can travel back in time and change the course of history, only that in doing so he must face the consequences in the current time, which were presented more and more dire. All his life, since he met her, Kayleigh Miller (Amy Smart) was the love of his life, however, with none of the changes he managed to make over time, he was able to be with her. In the end, he had to accept his fate and give up his first and only love.

“Stop Crying Your Heart Out”

Hold up
Hold on
Don't be scared

You'll never change what's been and gone

May your smile (may your smile)
Shine on (shine on)
Don't be scared (don't be scared)
Your destiny may keep you warm

'Cause all of the stars
Are fading away
Just try not to worry
You'll see them some day
Take what you need
And be on your way
And stop crying your heart out

Get up (get up)
Come on (come on)
Why you scared? (I'm not scared)
You'll never change what's been and gone

'Cause all of the stars
Are fading away
Just try not to worry
You'll see them some day
Take what you need
And be on your way
And stop crying your heart out

'Cause all of the stars
Are fading away
Just try not to worry
You'll see them some day
Take what you need
And be on your way
And stop crying your heart out

We're all of us stars
We're fading away
Just try not to worry
You'll see us some day
Just take what you need
And be on your way
And stop crying your heart out

Stop crying your heart out
Stop crying your heart out
Stop crying your heart out

The lyrics talk about resisting, enduring and not being afraid despite the adversities that come our way in life. When he says: “You'll never change what's been and gone”, he alludes to life itself, what happens to us, was what had to happen and we must accept it. We cannot change the past, but we can how to live the present.

Cause all of the stars
Are fading away
Just try not to worry
You'll see them some day
Take what you need
And be on your way
And stop crying your heart out
Get up (get up)
Come on (come on)

In these stanzas he tells us that after the storm comes calm, that we should not worry. That the sun will shine again, everything happens and we will get ahead. The lyrics of the song motivate you to keep your spirits up despite living a gray moment in life. They are lessons, learning, we take the positive to be able to continue.

The soundtrack at the end of the film achieved its goal, it transmitted a very successful message. Our protagonist understood that he cannot change the past, but he can live the present, move on, accept his destiny and overcome the bitter pills that marked his life.
